anxious to start work again

I’m a ftm and my baby will be 2 months old in a couple days. before having him Ive been working at an elementary school so Ive had the summer off. Since I took the last month off before summer started I don’t have as much savings as I would like and need to find some kind of income again. Im a single mom and bd isn’t in the picture or even in the same state as me as he moved halfway through my pregnancy. Im really anxious about having to go to work and leaving my baby. Been trying to find some kind of option where I can bring baby with me and still make money but been struggling. I really would rather just be able to stay home with him but that’s unfortunately not an option for me. Does anyone have any advice on how to cope with not being around your baby due to having to go to work? Or does anyone have any suggestions for at home jobs or ways to make income at home so I don’t have to leave him?

Maybe a rant? 😅

This is maybe a rant cause I’m not really upset but I’m just curious about how other moms are having luck making friends through this app. Every person I meet either doesn’t answer or is extremely dry. I find that I will ask someone a question about themselves and they will answer my question but not ask anything about me. Ive meet moms in person that either ghosted me when they didn’t need me anymore or simply only talk about themselves without any interest in actually getting to know me. I understand being a mom can be lonely sometimes and it feels good to have other people you can talk to but I’m tired of being the one listening to everyone else and no one putting any effort into anything about me. Ugh writing this makes me feel so selfish but at the same time I feel like i deserve a friend that’s willing to also ask how my day is and actually wants to get to know me not just use me as another chat bot. I hope I’m not the only one that feels this way.

When I was pregnant, my baby's father abandoned me throughout my entire pregnancy and started a relationship with someone else. She doesn't know he has a child, and as far as I know, most of the people around him don't either that includes his family. My baby is now 6 months old. Since then, he's apologized for how he treated me and says he wants to be part of our son's life, but he's still keeping our child a secret from his family, friends, and partner.

Every time he sees our son, I can see the love he has for him and the joy in his eyes. But at the same time, another part of me feels like he's disrespecting our son by hiding him from others.

Is it reasonable to cut contact with him and move on with my life?

Feeling lonely/friendships changing

Does anybody feel as if some of their friendships have changed since having a baby? I’m finding even this with the ones who have had baby’s recently too. We are so busy with our own we just don’t have time to see each other/speak to each other. I also feel some friendships have faded as they haven’t really checked in much and we’re on different pages now. I’d like to make new friends but I also feel my confidence is totally shot and I’m exhausted most of the time. I’m normally quite sociable and outgoing so this all feels a bit alien to me.

Earning at home that actually works?

Are there any apps or "side hustles" that actually work? And play and get paid apps? Any suggestions or reviews of apps/programs?

Anyone else find child free weekend so strange feeling especially as a young parent??

When my child is not here, I'm not a young mum trying to heal everything, help my son grow and break toxic cycles I am infact just a 21 year old girl.... it's a strange feeling when most of your identity is being a parent to realise you haven't actually found yourself at all. Do any other young mum's feel the same? Like sometimes I think, who am I and when will I finally find myself?

After reading this I've realised maybe I should become a poet 😆
