I had a lot of postnatal rage as a result of my postpartum anxiety when I had my first! Even if the depression or anxiety levels aren't bad, its still worth talking to your OB or midwife about ❤️

You are not alone!

hormones and the fact that i thought i was fine but really i needed to ask for more help so i let it build up until i flipped out

Definitely not alone. I had it. Have you reached out to your perinatal mental health team?

Not alone, I had it and currently pregnant with my second and have noticed it coming back so I have reached out to my midwife who has referred me to the mental health team x

Honestly I did have the rage, along other postpartum depression symptoms, when I went in for my six weeks check up a two years ago but I ask about therapy and medication a, that doesn’t mess with my hormones and it did really help, finding an voice to see reasoning; and to see what can i do instead of hurting people around me, i never really liked treating people with my rage, that why i seek out help

Moving baby to their own room

Hi all, did anyone move their baby into their own room early? My little boy is 5 months but is getting too long for his next2me and keeps knocking himself against the sides and waking himself up in the night. I am thinking of moving him into his cot in his room but unsure?

6 hour stretch at 6 weeks

I know I should probably just be happy about such a large stretch of sleep overnight but is this normal; my first didn’t sleep that much until he was probably closer to 2 years old!! May baby is breastfed and I cannot remember what the norm is

5 year old CONSTANTLY swearing😭

It's gotten to a point where my 5 year old is constantly swearing, muttering "f*ck" to himself over and over, or saying "what the f*ck" as he's playing with his toys. I've done some research and it says that they're testing boundaries and a big reaction will encourage them to do it more. I'm trying my best not to react, however I have taken his Switch and iPad off him as he needs to learn it's not okay to say. Just looking for some advice really on what approaches I can try or some tricks maybe? I'm grateful for anything at this rate. 🥲

Do moms ever blame their selves?

As a first time mom who just recently found out my child has infantile spasms(west syndrome) epilepsy… i can’t stop guilt shaming myself idk thinking if I could’ve done something different during pregnancy I just hate that she deals with that & because of it she has developmental delays & I can’t stop thinking where did I go wrong i’m getting her all the help that she needs, but I still feel terrible sometimes

Sleep schedule - how can we improve?

Hi mums, my LO is 7 weeks old. We’re finding night time wakes exhausting. This is our first so we don’t know what’s considered “good” in terms of nighttime sleep.

Between 10pm to 6am we have around three nighttime wakes where he’s up for around 30 mins to an hour. His longest sleep stretch is from when he goes down which is 3 hrs, and then he’s waking every 2.5 hours after that. Any advice on how we can lengthen the 2.5 hours? I’m hoping to get him to the 4/5 hour mark. He’s been in this pattern for the last three weeks and it’s not improving.

Sleeeeeeep help!

My little one is 10 weeks on Wednesday and ever since he has been born he has hate his next to me. Me and my partner have had to do shifts at night so we actually get some sleep.
I have tried every swaddle you can think of, white sound machine but he will only sleep on us (which I love obviously) but I don’t want him to get to used to it (seems he already has) if he is in a deep sleep he might allow us to put him in his next to me for between 10-40 mins but then screams and really works himself up and sleeps on us the rest of the night

Please tell me I’m not the only one.. any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated xx
