Coughing on saliva

My 3 month old is producing a lot of saliva suddenly and sucking his hands. I’m assuming he’s teething. I’m concerned though as he seems to cough on his saliva. Is this normal?

I asked the health visitor about this and she said its not teething its because their speech muscles are developing! Mine dribbles everywhere and is a right chatterbox now

All really good signs of development! It may not be teething just yet but you could check his gums. The coughing is also a good sign he’s getting his gag reflex ready for when the solids start :)

Thank you all! That’s really reassured me 🥰

Mine's doing the same & is a puddle of dribble - his fingers were actually wrinkly earlier like when you've been in the bath too long!

Just a little FTM rant

I felt so bad!! I changed my son and held him for a few minutes, then I put him in the pack and play to make some eggs and coffee, I also loaded the dishwasher. He started crying and my eggs were ready. I kept telling Noah “hold on mama’s here mama’s here.” but then my coffee went off. He was still crying. I went and picked him up while the cold water was running over the eggs and I put him back down. He started crying again and I told him I just need to peel the eggs and make my coffee really quick and get my water. I picked him up and gave him boobie…. I still feel bad for leaving him in there for maybe 12 minutes crying 😭😭😭😭

Veggie weaning

I’m vegan and my partner isn’t. Our baby will be weaning soon and I would like to make their diet as veggie as possible but also want to make sure she is getting what she needs and obviously open to giving her what’s best for her health. Has anyone got experience or resources for weaning babies to be vegetarian? Can it be healthy or do they miss out on anything?

Should I do it or wait?

Tomorrow morning I’m scheduled to have 4 teeth taken out 2 molars and 2 wisdom teeth. My dentist isn’t putting me to sleep but will just numb the area. They said I should be able to drive myself home. My only problem is, I have no family here all my family lives 8+ hours away and I go back to work 2 days later. Should I wait till the end of the year when I move back home next to family to get them removed? I’m not in pain or anything at the moment but they do need to be removed it’s been long over due. I’m terrified of the aftercare being alone with 2 kids & having to work. I do wfh & one of my kids is a teenager but still it’s scary to think about recovering without any help.

Bout to lose it so going to vent here.

I have been working full time while my husband was unemployed and supposed to be the stay at home parent. I work remote. Tell me why now that this man has a job, also remote and we split childcare between eachother, the amount I work/childcare hasn't changed for me? I have had no free time to even read a book or watch a show. Im literally only watching toddler, working, or cleaning. My husband started work this week and has had time to play video games every night, had an hour to himself this morning, and has had time to work out. And has the audacity to complain this morning about not having enough time to get things done, like baby proofing, or organizing, cleaning better. After almost 9 months of stay at home life he never learned how to get other things done with kiddo so only ever played with him and that was it. Just incapable of getting kiddo to solo play or multitask 🙃
I don't realy have a point to all this other then Im burnt out 🫠
