Hi moms! Since our babies are now 4 months old. I want to ask are any of your babies still waking up several times at night? My LO still wakes up multiple times. More so after 5am. For instance the other night/morning he woke up at 1a / 4a / 5:30a / 7a / 9a. Last night was 11p / 4a / 6:30a / 8a . He gets to bed at 9/9:30pm.
He has always been like this. I’d say he has slept from 9/9:30-5a five times in total. Three of which were a couple weeks ago and I thought omg we are getting somewhere then boom back to this! I’m so sleep deprived. Haven’t had a regular nights sleep since before he was born. I can’t hang anymore!
He is exclusively breast fed. Could that be why? I also started bed sharing with him when he was a month old thinking that would help. It did at first because before bed sharing I’d get zero hours of sleep, but I want him in a crib ideally.
My best friend said she’s never heard this from any mom, that he should be sleeping through the night more and have a routine by now. Asked me if he’s getting enough to eat. That makes me feel even worse!! What am I doing wrong? 🥺

My baby also wakes up frequently!

My 4 month old sleeps from 8:30pm-5:30am. The last two nights he regressed (4 month sleep regression) and woke up at 11pm-ish, but last night went back to sleeping through the night. It will happen. I breastfeed him about 4 times before bedtime as he tends to clusterfeed and I think that makes him really full and sleep longer. You are not doing anything wrong but being near you he smells the milk and is more likely to wake. I have my LO in a bassinet on my side of the bed and that helps him not smell my milk and keep sleeping.

My son is the exact sameeeee!
He even wakes up in the same pattern.
Few weeks ago e used to sleep like 5 hours or so and i thought oh its getting better but then this pattern happened.

My baby is formula fed and she has always woken up multiple times a night.
Bedtime: 10 (like in bed going to sleep)
Wakes at: 12am, 3am, 5ish and then we get out of bed at about 7 or 8.
If I co sleep it will be bed at 10pm wakes at 4am and then up at 8am
But my baby is only 22nd %tile and only drinks 4oz bottles so basically what I’ve seen and heard is the more your baby starts to eat the longer between bottles they are capable of going to babies who are bigger and can drink a larger bottle wake less.. idk if that makes sense with your babe or not but I’ve seen a progression with mine that the bigger she’s gotten and the more she drinks the less she wakes.

Hello, this may help……My
Son is almost 5 months, but I found what helps him sleep through the night; we start our day around 7am and feed 5 fluid ounces of milk every 5 hours throughout the day….the times my son wakes up in-between feedings I incorporate tons of tummy time stretching, less screen time more social interactions, therefore it keeps there little minds wandering hence tires them out naturally : ) I also find that cluster feeding 0.5 fluid ounces of milk helps them sleep better

Also we used this anti colic baby bed and use muslin cloth swaddles and he sleeps soooo good, like I have to wake my son ups for all his feedings that’s how good he sleeps with it

We bought the bed from Amazon

We have the exact same pattern, around similar times. Bottle fed and have not had one full nights sleep since before about 5 months pregnant 😩😅 I live in hope! We also had a few 5 hour stretches and thought we were getting there then back to every 3 hours at least! 😴

Moving the bedtime earlier might get you more sleep. An ideal bedtime for a four month old is 6:30pm-8pm. My girl goes down around then and sleeps through the night. I nurse her to sleep and slink away. We bed share. She nurses maybe twice a night but usually sleeps through the nursing sesh

The bed also prevents them
From
Rolling too much and help with colic issues : ) it’s been amazing

My baby is EBF and we co-sleep. He wakes up a ton to nurse/soothe as I feel a tooth coming in. Last night he must have work 4 or 5 times. My best friend’s almost 2 year old is still like this. I think every baby is different.
