I had 3 growth scans in my third trimester, all said average size baby, around the 50th percentile. My daughter was in the 97th percentile when she was born so personally I don't think they are very accurate at all. My friend who gave birth 2 days before me had the reverse situation. Was being told the baby would be huge and he was 6lbs when he was born.

OK thankyou ☺️ thought I can be having an enormous baby

At 34 weeks my baby was estimated 6lb 11.
He was born at 40+4 at 11lbs exactly. For me they were accurate x

Scans are more accurate than fundal heigh, however my experience was that they predicted an absolutely huge baby (so big that they didn't tell me exactly how big because they didn't want yo frighten me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) - I took it all with a pinch of salt and my little girl was born at 39+1 at 6lbs 5oz!

They're not accurate at all tbh.

Not very! My 36 week scan estimated my baby was already 7lb (90th centile), I gave birth 10 days later and he was 6lb (9th centile) lol

It really varies. A lot are wrong though, there has been been a report showing how incorrect they are a few years back as some women were falsely advised to have an induction or c section due to "big babies" and had an average sized baby or small baby. I had regular scans due to having a tiny bump and mine where accurate

With my first I was estimated 7.3lbs at 35 weeks lol

Think my was was 6lb 13oz at the same 34 week scan, he ended up being 8lb 5oz
So going from my own experience im gonna guess 7lb 9oz
