12 week scan

Had my appointment come through for my 12 week scan. Because of staff shortages at work it’s in a month where my husband can’t take time away from work which will mean he can’t come to the scan. I really don’t feel easy at the thought of going to it alone and being the first time we see this baby I feel it’s something we should be doing together. As it’s our 2nd pregnancy we’ve agreed the only private scan we’d have would be the gender scan (we had a few private scans out of excitement first time) because they’re so expensive. I don’t know what to do as it can’t be done at any other time. Has anyone been to their 12 week scan without their partner?

Would you go to a 2nd bday party at a park that you and your children have to dress up for? See pictures.

My baby got invited to a bday party. We said we would go but now I’m a little annoyed that she is telling adults what to wear. And it’s at a park. Not a fancy place.

We are still probably going to go because I know it’s important to show up, but would you also be annoyed?

Please, I need advice!

I am having my first and im 31 weeks going on 32 weeks on Friday!
I have had leaking colostrum since 13 weeks!
I am so used to wet tops and bedsheets. But I am fed up!
What must I do or can do to stop it so I can sleep and not roll over in a wet patch!?

Baby girl names🩷

We’ve had an early gender reveal test done at 12 weeks for baby #2. It’s saying another girl! We have an anatomy scan appointment in 2 weeks to confirm the gender results. So far we’ve only came across the name Cassandra that we really like. I’m curious on others opinions and other unique, “vintage”, 7-9 letters (I know our kids our gonna hate us when there having to learn to write there names🤷🏻‍♀️just means more practice😂) uncommon girl names that go well with Penelope.

She’s trying to escape

33 weeks and 5 days. Got an iron infusion today and the monitor showed I was having contractions, so they checked my cervix and I’m a centimeter dilated, they said the contractions were irregular and said to just come back if it gets worse, they also did an ultrasound and apparently she’s measuring at 7 pounds, send help lol. Anybody else who has a similar situation how long after did you give birth?

Asking as iv always been induced by now...

Currently 38+3 with my third and it's just been pinky/red when I wiped after a wee and got low back pain, gonna monitor it as I know it could be anything a few hours after this or even days.. but anyone else had this and how long after did anything progress

Recliner chair for recovery

Is anyone who is having a c section considering getting a recliner chair or had one for recovery? I keep hearing that it would help in the first week of the section in terms of recovery and not having to use your stomach muscles as much than if you were lying flat at bedtime. Any thoughts?
