Cot recommendations for an active baby 🩵

My 8 month old is currently still in our room in a travel cot. We don’t have a proper cot for him yet as I feel like he won’t take to it and I don’t want to waste the money. TBH he does do a lot of his naps on our bed 😬

Looking for recommendations for a big 8 month old that moves around A LOT in his sleep and just generally. I feel like he needs space!

Any suggestions would be great xx

My baby is a mover, especially since she’s learned to roll and move around.

I’ve currently got this one. It should last long so I’m seeing it as an investment haha.

We had something similar (I don't have that link) , it's adjustable heights, can be used later too. It's very sturdy after rough handling.

Maya Cot Bed - Slate – Obaby https://share.google/YyMUUxNNNyjjRfMjg

We have this one from day 1. It can go into toddler bed and LO loves it. Its big enough to roll and nove all night and tall enough to pull himself up and kind of walk.

You could have a look at cot beds, which you can eventually change into a toddler bed, as they tend to be a bit bigger. Mine’s in his at 18 months with plenty of space x

Nap location during the day

Where do people put their baby to sleep during the day?

She’s outgrowing her Moses basket at 16 weeks, and think she hates sleeping in anything she can touch the sides of.

Any ideas other than her pram? She wakes in that too because of the sides.

For those that have older talking kids, if u used to watch tv occasionally while your baby was there, did that make tyem talk late ?

I don’t let my son watch tv that much , he’s 7 months but o let him watch occasionally like while I’m making his food or taking a shower and for just a short period of time .. .. he’s already babbling a lot and he’s so interactive… I’m just curious to see how it went for other babies ..

Weird, or not?

Our LO is 17 months. Typically, after dinner I take her up to the bathroom for a bath, and dad does dishes. The other day I offered to swap, assuming he would enjoy bath time. He told me he doesn’t want to give her baths because it’s ā€œweirdā€ for him to be giving her a bath because she’s a girl. I could understand if she were old enough to be bathing herself, but she’s not even 2. I find it really odd that he thinks that it’s ā€œweirdā€ to give his child a bath. Is this a red flag? Should I be concerned?

Sleep

Why won’t my baby sleep past 5:00am!!😩 he’s 4 months old and I think we are right in the sleep regression but he hasn’t really gone past 5:00/5:30 ever! His bedtime is normally 7:30, but this doesn’t matter as if we are out and come home a bit later he still wakes up at the crack of dawn!! Anyone the same?

Feeding on demand

Nicu mum here šŸ‘‹šŸ» my little one is nearly 4months and we’ve been doing 3 hour feeds until last week and we moved to 4 hour feeds for two days. Specialist said our boy was doing great so told us to move to demand feeding… now his not drinking as much and it doesn’t seem enough in mls as we have to track everything. We are now trying different bottles. He was doing part puramino and part expressed breast milk and they told us to go full expressed breastmilk.
Has anyone else had similar and can offer advice? I’m trying not to stress but I can’t help it 😩😩 his sometimes going less than two hours between feeds as we can’t get him to drink enough.
