I got induced on Tuesday night and everything was going well. Wednesday started good and I ended up getting to 8cm, this is where it started going wrong. I stopped dilating. My little boy also HATED my contractions. Every time I would have what the doctors labeled as “a good contraction” his heart rate would drop and he would get super stressed out. They kept making me move positions to try to get him to just accept them and everything but nothing was really working. They then came to me and said it would be best for me to get a c-section so that we could stop causing him so much stress and heart rate fluctuations. I ended up getting the c-section AND OMG THE PAIN. I’ve been told you feel like a purse getting dug around in, but I never acknowledged the pain I’d feel. It was some of the worst pain and discomfort I think I’ve ever experienced. But of course as soon as they layed him down in my arms it all became worth it. He was born about 11 hours ago. He’s a happy little boy and already the light of my life. I’m still in a lot of pain after the surgery and getting out of bed is honestly so hard. But hopefully it’ll start to get better with the medication they’re giving me for it. Shoutout to every mother out there, we are a strong breed. Don’t let ANYONE ever take that away from you🫶

Superhero 🩵 I’m not sure how us mama’s do it?! My turn in November. Enjoy the most precious little newborn bubble and wishing you a smooth recovery xx

I had an emergency c-section in February as i wouldn’t dilate further than 2cm being induced and honestly it does get easier about a week after my tips which really helped me the first week - don’t over do it, don’t let your bladder get too full(i found i was in more pain with a full bladder) and keep moving as hard as it is.
Youve got this and congratulations on your little boy🥰 its honestly the best feeling being a mummy x
