Nap time has become hell in our house.
She’s tired - rubbing her eyes, yawning, red eyebrows - I try and get her to sleep and she refuses, arches her back and screams. I put her down and try patting her, she screams. It takes nearly an hour to get her to sleep for only a 20 minute nap. I’ve had to put her down and walk out and come back because I cannot take it. It’s been 4 days of this and I feel so irritable and tired, can only imagine how she’s feeling.
It’s probs the 4 month regression- is this permanent or will it fix itself? I can’t take it anymore!!!!

I had the same issue yesterday - walked him for a good hour and still couldn’t get him to sleep 😂
I gave him a lukewarm bath and that did the trick after a while.
At night I ran his feet under tap water as well . I’m hoping this is temporary too!!!

It’ll fix eventually but some things to try if you haven’t already - embrace the contact or carrier nap so they’re getting proper restful sleep, consider moving towards wake windows rather than sleeping on cue as it sounds like they’re already overtired by the time they’re being put down, water is your best friend and has a really calming effect, nothing wrong with feeding to sleep at this age IMO too x
