4 weeks pp - C section

It will be 4 weeks on Saturday since I had a c section when can I have a bath? I’m sick of showers I want a nice red hot soak 😂

I had a c section too and I couldn’t wait to have a bath! I had a bath dead on 4 weeks after my op, but I would say as long as your scar is healed, it’s not weeping or you don’t have any dried blood / scabs anywhere. Also don’t spend too long in the bath and make sure the water isn’t too hot! If in doubt, check with your health visitor or community midwife 🫶🏻 hope that helps x x

I'm nearly 16 week pp and still have scabbing so no hot baths for me 😔 I agree with above comment!

I had 1 as soon as my dressing came off and I got the all clear from my midwife. Just make sure to proper pat it dry I used a fan too after wards x

Re-ultrasound

Did anyone attend their 20 week scan and end up going for a second scan? I’ve been send to the maternity day assessment unit for a 2nd scan 3 weeks after my original they told me everything was fine just to re check his heart as he was in an awkward position. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

What percentile would this be (red dot)? Can't remember how to read the chart lol

Is anyone good with growth charts and can tell me what percentile I am measuring at? This was 28+2 weeks, and the midwife never told me, it's not mentioned in my notes like last pregnancy and I don't use AI lol

Bad dream tips 😭

I know that during pregnancy we have vivid weird dreams!

But I swear I have nightmares every night and everytime I sleep!! Any tips or tricks??

5 Months PP- How to Rid of Shelf?

Hello, hello!
I'm 5 months post-partum and have not been doing any of my usual pre-pregnancy workouts. I used to do calorie deficit and weight train, but since I pump and breastfeed, I can't do the calorie deficit without dipping my milk supply and I don't feel ready to weight train because just lifting a tote box for moving had me feeling sore inside the section. But ya'll!! Are there other ways to get rid of that shelf on top of the scar? I've always had a little pooch to begin with but after the C Section it has been more prominent. Let me know what regimen helped you.

Increased discharge

I’m 33+2 and have noticed increased discharge the last couple of days.

This morning on school run I felt lots of dampness in my underwear, to the point that the skin between the top of my thighs felt damp!

I’m sure it’s discharge as it doesn’t smell like amniotic fluid and I haven’t had any more ‘gushes’ in the 2 hours since.

Has anyone else had this?

C section on hairline

I just had a look at my C Section scar in the mirror for the first time (yes I was scared out my mind) the scar is right at my hairline. That means I have to shave right on top of the scar. Anyone else? :-(
