Postpartum isn’t so friendly

When did yall start working on shaping/toning body after birth? And what helped? I have PPD baaaad and looking at my body isn’t the most lovely view to me right now ): I think making mom friends and going on walks would do me wonders compared to sitting inside with her alone 96% of the time..

At 7 weeks I started doing light exercise and home workouts then after 3 months I would go to the gym once a week. Along with going for walks, I didn't have any mom friends then either though but would just try get 10k steps in I think it stopped me from loosing my mind lol

Then at 6 months postpartum I started a calorie deficit (I was still breastfeeding so made sure I was eating high protein high healthy fats) by the time my daughter was one I'd lost 20kg

You can start walking and doing specific breathing exercise before 6 weeks. You don’t have to sit at home alone
But since your hormones make muscles more stretchy and loose, you should not train yet. After the 6 weeks slowly starting with special post partum training

I would take my babies out for walks a few days after they were born all bundled up in their strollers (they were born in fall and winter) nothing too long but just for my sanity! It was nice to feel the fresh air. Don’t be hard on yourself! Give yourself some grace! None of our bodies snap back immediately. Focus on your all around health and if the weather permits definitely get outside for walks❤️

Let down during adult time

Tonight during sexy time my husband brought me to orgasm and i had a let down and started leaking everywhere. I’m 5 months pp and we’ve been together ten years, married six and i was still so embarrassed. 😞 My husband was very sweet about it but did not want to finish for himself. Has this ever happened to you!? What did your partner do/say?

Breastfeeding in public

I am correctly 6 weeks pp and the closest I have got to breastfeeding in public is by car.
It’s inevitable I will have to feed whilst out but can just picture my full boob being on show to the world whilst I am getting him ready to latch. I am really anxious about it.

Any tips for this!

Please send help

Recently posted this but nothings changing and we need help! Almost 3 weeks now my 13 month old has not been sleeping at night. 2/2:30 wakes up crying and will not settle no matter what we try. It’s taking hours for him to give in. When we go in he settles but as soon as we leave he cries. One occasion I swapped him into a warmer tog sleeping bag and we got a one off night of sleep. We’ve tried offering a bottle which he’s downed but that’s made no help. We literally do not know what to do😫 He’s resisting daytime sleep and I do think he is on the cusp of dropping a second nap. Currently 5am and we’ve been awake since 2:30😭 it’s having a big toll on my husband and I especially given we are up early for work in the week. He’s always been a good sleeper and slept through from newborn. Has anyone got any suggestions, tips etc please? I honestly can’t carry on like this much longer

“Is she always like this?”

I get the question “is she always like this?” EVERY time someone meets my baby. Does anyone else have a calm baby? I’m like “yes she only cries when she hungry or daddy picks her up too fast or she has fever or I wake her from a nap too early….” I mean she cries!! She’s my first and only so idk what’s normal. But i find myself reassuring people that my baby can and does cry. I’m a stay at home mom so baby’s needs are met… there isn’t anything to cry about. are babies supposed to cry about nothing? It’s a question I get all the time and I’m like maybe it’s not normal? Loooking for any other moms with chill babies who get asked “are they always like this?”

Breastfeeding and coughing and gaggin

My little one is 11 days old.

Im breastfeeding and in the day he will be latched for about 10 minutes, and he does the same at night time but it varies from 10 minutes to about 30 minutes. Im leaking a lot from both breasts as well.

Occasionally he will cough and follow up with a gag after about 5 minutes on the breast, Ive googled what this could be and it says I could be producing to much milk and baby could be getting full quick and that's why he is coughing and following it up with a gag.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you have to do?

He also coughs and gags randomly, but not all of the time its just occasional.

Earplugs

Does anyone wear earplugs when sleeping?

My LO has suddenly got really really loud and grunty which can also be in attribute to his growth spurt but I am getting zero sleep.

Wondering people experiences of wearing earplugs and hearing their LO etc

Thank you
