I am correctly 6 weeks pp and the closest I have got to breastfeeding in public is by car.
It’s inevitable I will have to feed whilst out but can just picture my full boob being on show to the world whilst I am getting him ready to latch. I am really anxious about it.
Any tips for this!

Have you tried lifting your top up? So it covers most the breast? You can also hey a ready good cover on Amazon that has a bar across neck so you can look down and see your baby but you are covered from other people

I always lifted top up once I got the hang of it. I always felt way more exposed when the top of my chest was uncovered as Poonam has said!
I also felt anxious at first but started out in low pressure areas, we went to the in laws, coffee shops at quiet times, and the breastfeeding clinic and those all helped to build confidence and comfort! You've got this!

I felt this way and I can honestly say it changes with time. It was like a switch flicked in me and I just overnight thought 'F#ck other people, my baby needs food and literally everyone on earth has seen a boob'
I still try to turn my back to major public places but inevitably, a bit of boob is out and the occasional nip slip when baby pops off and flashes to the world but otherwise mostly their head covers you up :)

I usually wear either something I can unbutton or a strappy top I can pull down a bit and I pop baby’s head in the way of my boob, ready to go and then use my free hand to whip my boob out. No nipple sightings thus far!
