My little boy turned 1 on Thursday 🥹 we had 3 days of celebrations and today we are just staying home so will be trialing his new routine.
I just wanted to ask for any advice really if this new routine looks ok, he’s not a massive eater so it does worry me that he won’t be eating enough food and now we will be massively cutting his milk intake it worries me he just won’t be getting enough food or milk.
7am wake up and 240ml bottle
(Mixing formula and cows milk until fully onto cows milk)
10am breakfast
This will be something like Weetabix and fruit or overnight oats and fruit or toast and fruit and water
No bottle
2pm dinner
Something savoury so like pasta, meat, vegetables, with water
No bottle
6pm bedtime bottle
300ml (mixing formula and cows milk until fully on cows milk)
Usually he would have a bottle at 10am and a bottle at 2pm but I’m hoping to drop those 2 bottles so that he just has a wake up bottle and a bed time bottle and I’m hoping he will eat enough at 10am and 2pm.
Never realised how overwhelming feeding babies was going to be 😩

I think you may have to drop one at a time, rather than both at once especially if he still wants them. Or may want a bigger bedtime bottle for dropping the others
When does he nap with meals being at those times?

You do whats right for you and you child there isnt one size fits all what could work for one may not work for someone else's child.
Our lg is complete opposite to our lb so hes routine wouldnt work for her and shes on 3 bottles morning afternoon and evening and the rest is food and 1 nap a day

I wouldn't rush to drop the bottles.
My little girl is one on wednesday, her typical day looks like:
7am wake
9:30 bottle (6oz) and nap
12pm lunch
2:30 bottle (6oz) and nap.
6pm tea
7:50 bottle (7oz) and bed.
I'm going to try cutting out the morning bottle soon and replacing with a snack.
I think when she drops to one sleep I'll be giving lunch earlier so she eats before her nap.
I would suggest changing your meal times tbh to prioritise food (you don't need to get rid of the bottles to start with though)
I would give breakfast on wake up instead of a bottle. If they don't eat much maybe offer some milk. Then give lunch around half 11 before the nap. Otherwise you're only fitting in 2 meals a day and that might be why they're still needing that much milk.... X
