Has anyone got any positive 8 week jab stories? My babies are tomorrow and all I’m hearing is horror😖😖

Hey my little girl had hers last week. She cried a little when she had the jabs, but was fine when leaving the GP, and fine when we got home. 3 hours after we got home she cried for about 40 mins and then slept for the rest of the day and was back to normal the following day!

hey, my girl had her jabs last week. She cried when she had the jabs , maybe for about 10 mins sobbing but was fine when we got home. Fell straight to sleep and woke up a few hours later crying and especially when she moved her legs but that’s due to the muscle ache, I comforted her and she fell asleep again maybe 30-45 mins later and was fine since that. Just keep up to date on the calpol and temperature checked and you’ll be fine!

My baby boy had his last week, cried for about 2 mins had a cuddle, he had 3 doses of calpol then was abit grumpy the day after. When we went to his 6 week check at the doctors, the doctor said about the heatwave he was advising people to cancel when we had it a few weeks ago.

My boy had his on Thursday. He cried when we had them and for about 5 mins then pretty much slept all afternoon and into the night.
He was right as rain the next day, all forgotten and back to smiling.
I do think it’s way worse for mum than baby as they forget about them so soon after

My little lady had hers last Monday. She cried when the nurse did them but only for a few seconds after. Gave her calpol (as advised) when we got home and she slept all afternoon. Another dose of calpol before bed and woke up her normal self ☺️

I just took my little girl today! We gave her a bottle of milk while it was happening and just a little cry out came out as the vaccines went in and she settled straight away - really recommend making her a feed beforehand and taking it with you!

Mine had hers 2 weeks ago during the heat wave - she cried when it happened then was absolutely fine, a bit of a temp which was cleared by calpol! It’s horrid in the short term but so important long term x

Mine had his jabs last Friday and he did great. We gave him Calpol even though he didn’t have a temperature just to prevent any aches. The only “odd” thing is that he had runny stools, which we were told to expect. Aside from this he’s been a happy baby, maybe he needed extra cuddles on the first day? That’s as “far” as it got. Today he’s absolutely normal

we had ours this morning 9:30, he had a little squeal when the needle went in then was totally fine, came home and gave him calpol then fed him to sleep and he’s been his normal routine feed, change, play for 30/60mins then for a nap only change is his naps has been slightly longer. I also gave him calpol again 5hrs after as that’s what the nurse advised 🥰

my baby had his last week, he was upset for only about a minute. It helped that the nurse gave him the rotavirus one right after (its given orally and I think he quite liked it 🤣). it was a morning appointment and he was sleepy the rest of the day just needing cuddles when he did wake up. I kept on top of his calpol (a dose right after, then 2 more doses after 4-6 hours) and he was fine the next day 🩵
