Giving up the dummy..

Yes I’m still struggling, I tried several different times and my daughter just screams bloody murder. I have friends that have done the pacifier fairy and they take the pacifiers and leave a toy. And that it’s better when they understand so hopefully by 3 she will understand more and won’t put up a fight! How old is your child?

No advice, but we've recently got rid of my son's about a month ago! It does get better, by day 3 he stopped asking for it completely. We also went cold turkey, he'll be 3 in October

Im in the same position right now! Shes fine in the night (surprisingly) were night 4 tonight...but the days have become soo hard! I will not give in though! Haha, just hoping it soon stops 🤞

It definitely gets easier coming from a mama of a son who was OBSESSED with his 🤭. I thought we would go through hell and he was constantly asking throughout the day but I ignored the request and changed the subject and after a few days he stopped asking
