I seriously have no idea what to do. My son turned two in June and he’s been kind of acting up and stuff but today he is a completely different baby. I am so confused. I don’t understand what’s happening at all. I mean he has his moments usually, you know, toddler tantrums and such but today he is screaming at the top of his lungs for hours, kicking, and screaming, while hitting me ripping my hair out. He’s taking down the baby gate. He’s slamming his head into the doors and stuff. Anything I try to give him to eat or something even if he asks for it he’s throwing it. I thought that maybe he was getting his back teeth, but I just need to know if teething would cause him to act like this. He’s seriously a completely different toddler and I’m not sure what to do. I need to know if this is normal I guess.

Terrible 2’s. 🥲 My son would act out and then be the calmest, sweetest thing the next day. I feel like the tantrums come & go. At times they have big big feelings, with little ways to express them.
Sometimes it may just be attention seeking as well. I always try to stay calm and redirect my son’s attention when he’s having a fit.

I would contact his pediatrician. A sudden change like this is not normal. I would be concerned he was in pain or had experienced some trauma.

She may have thought it was just because he was there. I would make an appointment just for this.

You have to make them pay attention to your concerns sometimes
