Hello. My husband and I have talked about having a 2nd baby. Today I am 38 years old ..I'm almost 40 to have a 2nd baby. I recently had a gyn appointment in February and I am doing good. I have a Dr's appointment in August for my annual. I will talk to her about it as well. I have looked into some helpful postpartum resources. But I think I'm. Missing something. What else can I do to prepare for a 2nd baby that I might not be thinking of? Health-wise, etc. Any advice? Any suggestions?

I regret not doing more strength workout before getting pregnant (am 34yo ftm)

I think you have a good start. As you go to doctors appointments ask them what you need to do to get healthy pregnancy. Age is not always matter. My mother-in-law had two more kids after she turned 40.
I think to stay calm with this TTC journey is the hardest.
Wish you all the best in your journey❤️

Tbh I think the best advice is go for it, now not later. Start taking prenatals if you’re not, and start tracking ovulation & trying. You’re healthy, still fertile. Why wait or look into it anymore. You’ve got 1 already, you got this!

I just had my first baby at age 35. I did loads of walking and yoga during my pregnancy and prior so I was doing well health wise. BUT! Damn, after she arrived i quickly noticed how i neglected the strenght workout. Really struggling with bending, lifting and holding her sometimes getting harder and harder. So do some weights 😆
