What’s people opinions and have anyone started weening early. I know it’s not recommended till 6 months but my LO is so interested in foods. I also just have a strong feeling he will smash weening if I started early

i’ve started to introduce veggies to my 4.5 month old and he’s sooo intrigued xx

By weaning, do you mean starting solids or decreasing milk? I believe it’s advised to maintain the same level of milk until about 1 years old because of the nutritional value. And are you breastfeeding/pumping or formula feeding?
And is your kiddo sitting up independently yet? (not getting into a sitting position, but able to maintain it when sat up)?
My little girl was showing interest in food around 4-5 months and I started solids (avocado, egg yolk, beef liver) around 5 months. I really wish I had waited another month or so, because their little guts are soooo frail at that time.

id just wait til 6 months, obv we all know that’s the guidelines, but i found weaning was such a big change with my first, so i’m enjoying every second of simple milk feeds with minimal clean up! theyre still so little at this point. but if you do decide to go ahead, def make sure they can sit upright on their own
