Peeps who went to sleep overs or just spent time at other people's houses

Me and a friend were doing somersaults between the two twin beds in one of their bedrooms, my foot went through the window 🥲🤣 the reaction of her parents was to be mad at my friend & not me which was shocking to me personally lol

At another one of my friends houses her brother swapped out the nightmare before Christmas vhs with “scary movie”s vhs instead, and neither one of us bothered to check the physical markings on the vhs because we expected nightmare before Christmas to start playing after the trailers, we were shocked to see somebody’s head roll off their shoulders instead.

This didn’t take place at someone’s house but in middle school a friend held her birthday sleepover in a 2-bedroom hotel suite, and her mother invited male strangers she’d just met up to the suite, I just remember them drinking a lot.
I walked in on some boy our age who was there showing his penis to some of the girls in one of the bedrooms, idk what else may have happened.
I’m glad I had enough common sense to immediately get out of there then go lock myself and some of my friends in the other bedroom the whole night lol. Getting picked up wasn’t an option.

I went to this house party in high-school and the dudes dad was in the basement drinking with everyone and in the morning when I woke up he was on the floor kinda spooning with a what I presume was a high school or early college aged girl 😭 and the man’s wife / the guys mom was upstairs and when she woke up she made us breakfast and didn’t seem phased at all that her husband was parting all night with us and flirting with young girls/ women and never came to bed 🤢

I spent the night at Neigbor friend and there was a thunderstorm and we got scared and slept on the floor in her parents room and I saw the dad naked walking to bathroom I was in 2nd grade. We didn’t stay friends as her house was too weird 😭

Currently my husband and I are planning on not doing sleepovers based on our experiences.

Oh yeah my neighbors who lived infront of the community pond who’d let us ice skate on it when it froze over had an older son like 13-16 years old, one time when I was over watching a movie with their kid my age, (9/10 at the time) dude (13-16 year old) slipped his flaccid dick out of his pants for absolutely no reason. Never went back to their house again after that. I was disgusted

I had a friend with a drunk dad and we walked in on him passed out with his pants down around his ankles.

Another time I got banned from a friends after I told my parents the dad said we can't play in the basement because that's where he has his tomato plants.

My friend had “the abyss” next to her bed. You can find anything in there we once found an an entire place setting.. with half the meal still on it 🥴

My husband said he would be set to pick him up his sister from a friends house and there was always a pile of laundry covered in cat poop at the front door.

I has a friends angry drunk dad teach me a lesson about leaving my stuffed dog pup pup where their dog could get it so he told me their dog ate him and I was devastated. Omg this post unlocked a shit ton of memories

I wasn't allowed to sleepover 😂 I used to be so devo'd & hated my parents for it but I get it know ! Now that I have my own child, sis won't be sleeping over anywhere either.
My husband told me I was being extra and said "what if we got to know the parents". Still a big fat no. You never really know anyone as well as what you think. Also, you don't know who else is coming into that house 🤔 brothers, cousins, uncles, even females ! No no NO.

One time when I was 13 to 14 I was friends with this older girl who was just 1 grade above me. Nothing weird ever happened at sleepovers for me, no. But it gets worse.

I was emerging into like, no longer bullied for once in my life. I was cute finally & dated a football player at that...

Yeah! She was f***** sleeping with him! While being my best friend bro 😂🤣 I chose to keep my V card until 19. That, my parents divorce the same year, my brother ghosting all of us, then my dad was in a motorcycle accident-- alot happened from 13 to 16 lol. By 16 most the guys in my school either slept with girls or if they didn't they were weird so I never dated another guy from school/ anyone knew again!! I was like (that's bad luck, clearly) 😂😂😂

Idk what's worse though, here I am 10 years strong with a boy from high-school 🤭

I loved sleepovers as a kid and teen! The weirdest is when I was probably 5 or 6 and went to a sleepover with my sister to our friend’s house. The mom made my sister and I take a shower before we could play. They also gave their baby beer in its bottle to drink. My sister and I talk about it all the time but no one believed us at the time.

Another one that comes to mind is I had this one friend that the mom would leave us in the apartment alone all night. We were probably 8 and there were 2 younger siblings too. She would go out to the bars and come back drunk in the morning. At that same friend’s house we would dress up in her mom’s clothes and have fashion shows for the boys in the apartment complex. And they would throw dollars at us. Again probably 8ish.

I hated sleep overs. My best friends mom would scream at us and slap her. I would beg to go home and shed refuse to call my parents.

I also experienced COCSA with one friend that im pretty sure was assaulted by her step brother.

Even good sleep overs I would come home exhausted and disregulated.
