Hard to wake for night feeds?

Anyone else's babys still really hard to wake for night feeds? I strip him down, change his nappy and tickle him all over with my hands and a wet wipe but he just stays chilling and asleep? Having some problems with his weight so I'm still having to wake him every 3 hours but I literally have to feather his face with a wet baby wipe and really go ham on stimulating him to wake him up and then when he's awake enough to latch the feed puts him straight back to sleep so I'm having to do it throughout the whole feed.
Anyone have any suggestions? I will ask my midwife when I see her. (Might even call up in the morning)

Activities for wake windows.

Hey mamas xx my baby is nearly 1 month old and I wonder other than the normal stimulation of the first weeks (singing, talking to her, tummy time) what other sensory activities can I start doing during her wake windows that are getting longer? x 😘

How do I explain this to my 3 year old right?

Our neighbour has a child with additional needs, she spends most of the day in the garden, especially on days with nice weather like we've been having recently. (They have their garden done up great for her with lots of activities and waterplay etc, she's always being supervised too. Just before anyone is concerned!)

My 3 year old son and I were out in our own garden today playing football and we could hear the neighbour girl playing in her garden. My son asked me "why is the girl making that noise?" And kept saying "mummy what is that noise?" (I don't know the proper terms but I guess it's like stimming noises maybe?)

I didn't really know what to say, I just explained the girl is happy and playing in her garden like we are. He accepted that and moved on, but is that the right thing to do? Should I have explained more/differently?

How does your baby go to sleep at night?

Comment if other. My boy used to go down all by himself, I thought we were blessed, but we seem to have gone backwards and now it’s taking an hour to get him to sleep through cuddles 🥲

Double buggy recommendations

My second is due in Feb 2027 and by then my daughter will be a couple of months away from her 3rd birthday. We still very much need a buggy for her if we’re going on longer walks so I’m thinking I’ll need to invest in a double buggy just looking for any recommendations x

How many people actually cosleep all night?

I know it isn’t officially recommended but I’m just curious how many actually do end up doing it! And what ages do/did you cosleep with your babies?

0.2 tog sleeping bag and nappy in 28 degrees Celsius

He's 18 months old.

I've everything I can to cool the room down but it's been 35 degrees outside today and the heat hasn't let up for weeks. I ran the AC in his room for 6 hours today (removed before bed as I don't think it's ideal to run in his room overnight - it's really noisy and dries the air out) and managed to get it down to 24 degrees. Also kept all electronics off, blackout blinds and curtains closed, and even tried the tin foil on the outside of the window trick, the whole nine. Obviously, as the building is so hot, the temperature in his room shot up in the hours since I removed the AC, although I kept the door and window shut.

LO has a really strong sleep association with his sleeping bag and doesn't sleep so well without it so I bought a 0.2 tog sleeping bag as I didn't think the 0.5 tog was cool enough for this weather. I have a fan running in his room, gave him a cool (not cold though) bath and got him to drink plenty of water and milk before bed.

I can't help but worry with all these warnings about little ones overheating. He's sound asleep. Google is telling me I have to take the sleeping bag off.
