Pelvic pain after birth

Hey guys! I gave birth around 5 days ago and I’ve been experiencing really bad pelvic pain still. Like turning over in bed is extremely painful, sometimes even walking is painful, my pubic bone itself hurts, and I hear it click sometimes.
My tailbone is also a little painful and it hurts to sit down, as if my backside gets like numb very quick.

Has anyone else experienced this, if so, did anything help?

I had the exact same, used to have the clicking every time I rolled over in bed and my pelvis would be in agony after I spent a lot of time on my feet. It probably lasted for a couple of months post partum. I went to my GP but they basically did nothing and said it’s a normal part of being post partum and sent me for physio (I had complained about a bad back and hips at the same time). Definitely go to your GP though!

The sore bum was normal for me and I also had bad hip pain throughout pregnancy in the end which was normal for me too and did eventually go! You gave like a 5day health visitor appointment or midwife if I remember right mention it there! Completely get how painful it can be but your body is still recovering massively, so it may take some time xxx

Induced, emergency c section, accurate scan weight

So I'm finally announcing my son's arrival.
Born 8th July after being admitted to hospital for an induction. Being induced at 39 weeks, waiting for days to go on the ward for my waters to be broken which ended in an emergency c section. My scans all showed baby plotting above 99 percentile and they were right as he was 9lbs 13oz. Baby pooped inside which was noted when my waters were broken and he developed a temp and his respiratory rate was elevated so we ended up staying a few days after too. Ended up coming home on his due date 11th July! Just posting on here if anyone wants any further information.
Also trying my hardest to breastfeed this time so any tips please send them my way.

Feeling zapped 🤯

Anyone else in their late 20s and just completely drained from watching the baby all day, or is it just me?

Anyone who had 3 C-sections

Hi everyone, I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant with my third baby after having two previous C-sections. Did anyone else feel pressure or discomfort around their C-section scar during pregnancy? I’d love to hear your experiences.

Thoughts on our baby name🙏🏻

We love the name Roscoe, I first put it to my partner when we originally found out we were having a baby. I have loved the name for years from the song Roscoe by Midlake which is where I originally heard it. The song itself is so lovely, and having looked up its meaning, his name means ‘roe deer’ or ‘forest’ of an old Norse definition. Recently since telling a few friends and family we have had nothing but backlash which has now made me reconsider. People saying it’s a dogs name, although our dog is called Henry😆 and just generally disliking the name. Just wondering what people’s thoughts on the name are.
