Not really drinking milk

I’m getting so frustrated my daughter won’t sit still for 5 minutes to drink her milk then she pushes it away today she’s only had 3 bottles with how her naps have fell and she’s only drank 360ml today out of 480ml that I’ve made her.
I’m worried she’s not going to gain weight and she’s going to get dehydrated.
Tips please (9 month old next week)

Is she having water? Have you tried an open / straw / sippy instead of a bottle? X

Baby crying lots

I’ve posted on here about this before and was told it was developmental ect but I just feel like I’ve never known anyone to have a baby that cries the way mine does.
He has been this way ever since we brought him home. Some days it’s from the moment he wakes up till he goes to bed. He will stop for short periods when distracted with toys or being bounced but as soon as he loses attention in whatever it is the crying will start again.
I try to take him out for walks, baby classes even just up to the shop and I find it so stressful and end up carrying him most of the way.
I’ve tried colic treatments, calpol, teething treatments and nothing seems to help. He has normal nappies so I feel like it’s not an intolerance to his milk and he hasn’t started solids yet.
He sometimes brings he’s knees up to his stomach when crying, could this mean he has a pain? and if so how can I help? I burp him, keep him up straight after bottles and give him stomach massages and still see no improvement.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Because he’s 4 months old now and he’s been so difficult since day one and I’m starting to think there’s something wrong. Doctors have told me it’s developmental but how can that be the case for 4 whole months? Don’t get me wrong we do have days better than others but this just can’t be right I feel so sorry for him and like I’m doing something wrong but I really don’t know what else I can do nothing helps!
Any advice or stories would help

Can we talk about breastfeeding and weight loss? 😅

Everyone told me the weight would “fall off” because I’m breastfeeding… but that definitely hasn’t been my experience.

If anything, I feel constantly hungry and the scales aren’t budging!

Has anyone else found this? Did the weight eventually come off, or only once you stopped breastfeeding? I’d love to hear other people’s experiences because I’m starting to think I’m the odd one out.

1 nap at almost 11 months old?

What are the signs that a baby is ready to drop to 1 nap normally? I keep being told 10.5 months is too early for a 1 nap day but she managing long wake windows and starting to fight 2nd nap and bedtime (taking me 1 hour to put down! ) !

Nursery complaint about little boy screams

My little boy has always been a screamer and I mean distressing high pitch screaming. I’ve always worried about it and to be honest I dread taking him places because I get embarrassed. My husband has always reassured me it’s fine but today his nursery have mentioned it so I’m getting really worried.
He does it when he’s excited and when he’s unhappy. But he does do it a lot throughout the day.
Has anyone experienced this with their child or older children and how did things turn out? He’s been doing this since 6 months.

He’s saying about 6 words, ball, duck, bubble, dada, mama, book. Give eye contact, responds to his name, interacts with us. Loves other kids.

Thanks!

Baby always crying

Ok my baby is 13 days old and seems to constantly cry.. my first was not like this and I’m a single mum so struggling.. she is fed (I think struggling with gas/reflux possibly) changed, etc but always seems unhappy. Especially between 5-11pm but now it also seems to be all day. I take about an hour to console her, then 20 mins or so after I put her in her cot then she wakes and cries more and I do the same thing over and over again… very hard to console and I don’t know what she wants… any suggestions? Anyone been through the same? Thanks!
