Sex after birth

How long do you personally wait until intimate again? C-section and regular delivery. They say to wait 6 weeks but I find that difficult 😣 does anyone seriously wait that long?

I had a regular delivery , me personally I waited six months cause for me. It was more than physical. I wasn’t mentally ready yet but most doctors and people say two months like six weeks. After it’s safe but they say you also have to be cleared by a GYN I never went to go get cleared they just came to my home to see if my cervix is closing

even if you had a c section it’s dangerous before 6 weeks minimum bc you still have an open wound in your uterus regardless of how you delivered. please allow your body to heal

I had a c section, and the night I got cleared we went at it. The wait was tough. But my fear of an infection was even worse, especially knowing we don’t wear protection and he finishes in me.

Please wait.

Vaccines

No judgement please but wanted to get people’s options and any website or medical research about the vaccines for babies. I am really undecided on if I want my little one to have their vaccines. Some of them contain metals which scares me! Any advice would be great

How often are they pooping?

My baby poops once a day or every other day. The doctor says it’s okay but it seems weird to me.

Dark under eyes

My toddler is on the spectrum she’s 2 years and a half old for the third time this week she skipped her nap and stayed up from 7:30 to 6:00 6:30 pm but last night she slept from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm so still had a lot of sleep my question is is this normal for her age ? And the darkness under her eye is from lack of proper sleep im assuming ?

If breastfeeding, do people offer both breasts at each feed or just one?

I am intrigued as to any difference between offering both breasts compared to just one. For no specific reason, ive only ever offered one. My baby feeds a lot and is hungry (and grouchy!). I’m wondering if I should be offering both or if there is little difference!

Need Help!

Hi, I’m a FTM to a 4 week old baby boy. I’m concerned about my baby during evening feeds. In the morning and afternoon he usually only needs 1–2 burps, but in the evening he gets trapped burps after almost every 2–3 sips. He starts gulping the milk quickly, arches his back, breathes fast, cries, and won’t continue feeding until the burp comes out. Milk also leaks from the corners of his mouth while he’s drinking and once he burps, he settles and starts feeding again, but the same thing keeps happening throughout the feed for about 8-10 times in one feed. Does anyone know what might be causing this or has anyone experienced something similar?

Send help

I am so embarrassed to be admitting all of this but I know I am not the only one that's ever gone through this...

Let's start from the beginning... my doctor was born and wouldn't latch. They would put her on my breast, and she would instantly fall asleep. She would never suck. She didn't want to take a bottle. She didn't want to take breast, so she did not eat for the first roughly 36 hours of life. The nurses and doctors made me feel so inadequate and made me feel like I wasn't doing a good job as a mom. In the middle of the night, my started crying, and we begged for formula and she took it instantly my goal was to have her get on the formula, then switch her over to breast. Unfortunately, she's only truly latched, maybe 3 times total. She is now 7 weeks old. I was pumping but not consistently. I have older kiddos at home and I got PPD and PPA and then I became completely discouraged with her not wanting to latch. Then I lost the feeling of being full... so I would tend to forget to pump as the sensation wasn't there. Then, I would hand pump, and I would only get about half an ounce between both breasts. I talked to a peer counselor for breastfeeding, and she encouraged me to get back on a schedule to pump. I wasn't consistent enough previously. Now, i'm only getting a couple drops out of each breast. Not even enough to do anything with.

So with all of that being said, my question is if I continue to pump, will I ever get my milk supply back?? I have been pumping throughout the day as well as power pumping once a day...
