4 month sleep regression at 12 weeks?

Anyone else experiencing a sleep regression early? Is it the ‘4 month regression’ just coming around a bit earlier? My boy is 12 weeks now and consistently for a couple of weeks has been sleeping anytime from 8:30/9:30pm until 5/6am, waking to have 3-4oz of milk (around half what he has in the day) and then going back to sleep until at least 8am. The last two nights he has woken twice in the night and in-between wakes has all of a sudden become incredibly loud and fidgety in his sleep again. Tonight he fell asleep around 9:15pm, woke up around 1:30am, the dummy wasn’t cutting it and he was wide awake so I picked him up and he went off within 10 mins. He woke again at 4:30am, again dummy didn’t cut it but I knew he’d be hungry and was a bit more fussy this time round so he has just taken 3oz and fallen back asleep.

Im also slowly trying to creep his bedtime forwards so I wonder if this has anything to do with it whilst he adjusts. I know his circadian rhythm is still developing and he probably still has the startle reflex so this may be way for the time being as everyday is a little more predictable but still not exactly the same and we may be regressing a tad early. Sod’s Law just as I was getting back a good 7 hour stretch of sleep as he was being so peaceful, calm and quiet and didn’t move a muscle until he woke😂😂

I was coming on here to ask the same thing. Mine started waking up so many times at night. He used to just wake up twice, he’s back up to like 4 times per night. 😮‍💨😴

Save my marriage plus a newborn

My baby is 5 weeks old and me and my husband are in the worst place weve ever been in our marriage. I used to feel like we were soul mates, he was my best friend but now we keep having arguments over petty things, when I try to communicate with him, he doesn't listen and storms off but then I cry and he shouts, swears and name calls if I try to stand up for myself. I've been diagnosed with postnatal depression too and am under the perinatal mental health team, they suggested some medication but my husband says hes "disappointed" that im considering medicstion. Any tips on how to save my marriage with a new born?

Breastfeeding - Latching on and off

My 6 week old has been really frantic on the breast during the day. He starts off feeding well and then cries, latching on and off. Opening his mouth wide but not actually latching on. Latching on for like a second then off. I initially thought it was the change in milk flow but not sure if this is the case. I do breast compressions, pause him for a bit and then try again but nothing helps. I’m really stuck. He also then doesn’t sleep.

Do babies stop having blowouts?

My son is three months old and has occasional blowouts, we don’t deal with this problem a whole lot, but it happens and it stains his clothes when he does. I want to dress my son in cute outfits, but I don’t wanna spend money on nice if he’s just going to poop through them. So can anybody with older babies tell me does it stop or when does their poop become more solid and not as runny?

P.S. I know that babies are gonna poop and make messes. I don’t expect everything to be perfect clean all the time.

Temporary Hair dye

My LO is 3 and he really loves colour and expressing himself, he likes his nails painted, drawing "tattoos" on his arms and always wears sunglasses, necklaces, watches and gloves. I love to let him find his own style and enjoy being himself. I've seen lots of videos of parents using temporary hair dye on their kids over the summer, i think my LO would love it. I was thinking jjst the tips or a peekabo or some strips, he loves red and purple so i was gonna mix it up a bit. I think its such a fun tradition to do over the summer and they can grow it out before school starts. Just wondering if anyone has done this or is considering giving it a go?
I was gonna use artic fox as i've heard its pretty good for keeping the hair healthy and fades after a while

Baby crying all evening

Hi everyone,

My baby girl has turned one month old today and in the last few weeks she has been very gassy. We started infacol before every feed and it seems that after she has had a big poo, she settles more.

However in the last few days she has been making herself overtired. It doesn’t matter what I try during the day, she just won’t settle down for a nap unless on me and most of the time, even on my chest, she is just so exausted that she won’t settle.

Today I managed to get her to sleep a bit better during the day but then from around 7ish this evening, up until 11, she was just not calming down. We tried rocking, lowering lights and stimulation, bath, feeding, she just wouldn’t settle.

Anyone else going through this or has any tips? Is this due to a growth spur or?
