Hi all. My 19 month old has been waking up around midnight so unsettled, he will cry, scream for some reason. The only way he will settle again is if I bring him in my bed and he’ll go straight back to sleep. He goes to bed completely fine, no issues. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
We never co-slept unless he was poorly.

Is he having any milk or dairy after lunch time? I say this with knowledge, credentials & licensing in early growth & development. Milk/ dairy can cause night disturbances. Our bodies are processing waste at specific times. & can also cause night terrors that can be avoided. If so I suggest only offering milk am and with lunch. Push water, is he a good eater? Is he on 3 meals a day & 1 snack?

Could be sleep regression. What time do they wake, nap and go to bed?

I'd be pushing bed time just a bit later. If he's managing 5 hours awake before nap I'd be aiming for 5.5-6 hours awake before bed

Teething? That’s what it was for us. We just made sure he had some ibuprofen and Tylenol before he goes down and then I play brown noise and that fixed it.
