Please help

My husbands dad, every time we are with him he has my 2.9 year old daughter sitting his lap and he starts running his fingers across her legs and arms and opens her belly and rubs his fingers against her belly then says does that feel good? And I don’t know if this is normal but I feel like I could burst into tears watching it. It just doesn’t seem normal but maybe it is? Please let me know if I’m over reacting?

Be protective over your child. It’s ‘probably’ innocent, but it could also not be. Don’t leave him alone with your daughter, ever. You can never be too trusting these days and remember, your motherly instincts are there for a reason x

And you've never told him to stop doing that or your child can't sit on his lap

You feel that way for a reason. Follow your instincts.

If that was my daughter she'd be nowhere near him.

Not normal behaviour at all.

Does your husband have any sisters? Girl cousins? Could you ask them what their views are on the dad?

I would call him out on it everytime in front of everyone. “Can you please stop touching her like that John” and I would not give him any opportunity to hold her or be close to her. She would conveniently need a nappy change or something.

I don’t want her to grow up! ☹️

Not a crazy post but maybe a crazy mommy. It’s so weird how having a baby completely rewires your brain! Before getting pregnant my husband and I agreed that we would NEVER cosleep! We said as soon as we get home from the hospital for the first week or two she would sleep in her bedside bassinet then we put her in her crib in her own room. Weeellll day one she slept in the bed, we thought just this once! She’s little and I wanted to get all the newborn snuggles on my first night home. Two months old now and she hasn’t left our bed 😭 I dread thinking about putting her in her own room. I don’t even want to put her in the bassinet! I told myself I’d never have a velcro baby but now I’m a Velcro mommy!! I don’t want her to leave ☹️☹️ I’d feel like I’m losing my baby 😭 (pic from her daddy 🥹)

Phone passcode?

Why would someone change their phone passcode?

My phone was dying and I need to take photos of my ear as I was in a lot of pain and when I took my earring out I started bleeding. I wanted to see what happened.

Anyway. Tried my phone first but the screen went dark as it was dying so I borrowed my partners and figured I'd send myself the pictures.

Except after I took the photos, I couldn't log in. Tried many times, went slow, then slower. Mixed up the numbers in case I had it wrong and then logged into my phone (on charg at this point) to search our texts as he had sent me the code nearly a month ago to access his tablet. Same code.

It was the code I thought and had tried many times. I tried it again 2 or 3 times and when it still didn't work I got this feeling in the pit of mg stomach and put the phone back and typing this.

He is asleep so can't ask him until tomorrow.

PPA and struggling badly

I've had to write this and rewrite it a few times as I'm so uncomfortable asking here.

I'm really struggling mentally and physically, for the past few days I've been struggling badly, I've asked friends and family and everyone seems to be in the same boat. I'm really in need of nappies, wipes and food for myself (I'm breastfeeding so I really only need oat based things to keep my supply up). Please please please if anyone has the ability to help, I don't mind if it's a few people who give a small amount so it's less pressure on 1 person. I feel cheeky and genuinely quite scared at the replies I'll receive here, that's why I'm anon. My daughter's 8 weeks old and I'm struggling with post partum anxiety really badly. I haven't slept for days just watching her over her cot. Everything's just really intense.

I'm more than happy to pick things up from stores if it's nearby, I just really want some peace of mind, I feel like an absolutely horrible parent.

Sorry about this post but thanks for reading even if you csnt help ♥️

6 week old slept 8 hour

My 6 week old slept last night from midnight and was still sleeping but starting to stir at 8am. Is this too long for his age?

After her regained his birth weight the midwife said he was big enough to not have to wake for feeds every 4 hour, but this was when he was sleeping 5 hour stretch, whereas last night he went 8 hour

Dripping with colostrum at 23 weeks

I’m 23+4 and for the past week or so I’ve noticed I am producing loads of colostrum, it’s literally dripping down me. I’m worried that I’m inadvertently putting pressure on my boobs and it’s causing them to leak, could that be the case? Or am I just producing loads of colostrum already??

2 year olds behaviour - STRUGGLING

My daughter had recently turned 2 and the change in her behaviour is coming so difficult. She had always been quite a sassy little girl but over the last 2 months she has become quite spiteful - hitting, pushing, biting. She shows so much frustration in listening, sharing and being told what to do - she even bites herself. I've tired the gentle approach but it doesn't seem to even go in. I've tried the time out method and she listens for 0.5 seconds and then it's back to her normal behaviour.
Any advice?
