Struggling…

I’m really struggling at the moment. The cluster feeding is exhausting. The loud crying is heartbreaking and frustrating in equal measure. I lose my patience so quickly, especially doing the night feeds. My back is killing me. I feel so isolated and lonely even though I have a partner and family surrounding me. I could just cry constantly. We’re 5 weeks in and it just feels like it’s never going to get better. I love her so much I just wish it would be a little bit easier some days..

Those easier days are coming so soon ❤️ you’re absolutely smashing it girl. Newborn stage can be such a rollercoaster

I felt exactly like this at the same stage❤️ for my the cluster feeding peaked at 6 weeks and I felt like giving up. I pushed through and so glad I did. Everyone told me to wait until 12 weeks and things will turn around. I didn’t believe it because even at 9/10 weeks our girl screamed constantly and fed constantly. At 12 weeks it’s like something switched and the crying reduced and feeds started to space out. She started sleeping through the night a couple weeks later.
Feeds are now every 2 hours during the day (sometimes hourly in the evening if she’s cranky or extra hungry) and none overnight. She smiles loads and occasionally laughs. She rarely comfort feeds now and feeds went from 1 hour down to 15 minutes. I know even getting through 1 day feels impossible but better days are coming and they’ll be here quicker than you think xx

It gets better hunny! It doesn’t feel like that yet, as your in the trenches of the newborn stage but in a few weeks time you’ll looked back and think wow I really did that and got through it! Then in a few years time you’ll think “god take me back to the newborn stage” because as a toddler mum, it’s hell here🤣 but in all seriousness, talk to people (family/ friends, or my messages are always open!) and please be open with your partner about the way your feeling too! ❤️❤️

I feel you. I’m 4 weeks in - I’m so tired, but holy shit, I love her to pieces. I’m a solo parent, but I’ve broken down and cried to my family. I look at friends who have older ones, and it gets better. It just doesn’t feel like it when you’re deep in the trenches. You got this mumma.

Phone passcode?

Why would someone change their phone passcode?

My phone was dying and I need to take photos of my ear as I was in a lot of pain and when I took my earring out I started bleeding. I wanted to see what happened.

Anyway. Tried my phone first but the screen went dark as it was dying so I borrowed my partners and figured I'd send myself the pictures.

Except after I took the photos, I couldn't log in. Tried many times, went slow, then slower. Mixed up the numbers in case I had it wrong and then logged into my phone (on charg at this point) to search our texts as he had sent me the code nearly a month ago to access his tablet. Same code.

It was the code I thought and had tried many times. I tried it again 2 or 3 times and when it still didn't work I got this feeling in the pit of mg stomach and put the phone back and typing this.

He is asleep so can't ask him until tomorrow.

PPA and struggling badly

I've had to write this and rewrite it a few times as I'm so uncomfortable asking here.

I'm really struggling mentally and physically, for the past few days I've been struggling badly, I've asked friends and family and everyone seems to be in the same boat. I'm really in need of nappies, wipes and food for myself (I'm breastfeeding so I really only need oat based things to keep my supply up). Please please please if anyone has the ability to help, I don't mind if it's a few people who give a small amount so it's less pressure on 1 person. I feel cheeky and genuinely quite scared at the replies I'll receive here, that's why I'm anon. My daughter's 8 weeks old and I'm struggling with post partum anxiety really badly. I haven't slept for days just watching her over her cot. Everything's just really intense.

I'm more than happy to pick things up from stores if it's nearby, I just really want some peace of mind, I feel like an absolutely horrible parent.

Sorry about this post but thanks for reading even if you csnt help ♥️

Not meant to be a mother or wife

Ever since I became a mother Nov 2024, I’ve been having this feeling that I wasn’t meant to be a mother and my mother and grandmother second guessing all my decisions when it comes to my daughter doesn’t help ofc. I do what my daughter’s doctor recommends for her and they want to do everything how they did when I was a baby. I try to get them to see that the recommendations changed from when I was a baby and it seems like they think they know what’s best for my baby, more than I do and I’m so over it. I’ve resorted to just letting them raise her and take care of her. I don’t have the energy to care anymore and I’ve been going through depression and it seems like no one cares until I attempt to take my life. My husband is no help either, he doesn’t even seem to care when I cry myself to sleep when he’s right there. I feel like we’re headed right to divorce, which will make my depression even worse. Am I the problem? I don’t even know but I need help!😔 my therapy sessions once a week aren’t doing enough.

Dripping with colostrum at 23 weeks

I’m 23+4 and for the past week or so I’ve noticed I am producing loads of colostrum, it’s literally dripping down me. I’m worried that I’m inadvertently putting pressure on my boobs and it’s causing them to leak, could that be the case? Or am I just producing loads of colostrum already??
