Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced travel pram.. my baby will be 5 months by the time we go abroad but I’m wanting something cabin approved so I can use in the airport.
I’m flying with Tui but they have specific measurements and I can’t find a pram that folds small enough?
Has anyone flown with Tui but not checked the pushchair into the hold?

Hi! Our little girl isn’t here yet, due in 2 weeks. However we have purchased her first travel pram as we are going away in December. I did a lot of research into travel prams as most require the baby to be 6 months plus. We’ve gone for the ‘Zummi Eden’ from Smyths as it’s one of the only prams which can be used from birth right up. It has a newborn insert for their head too and lays flat which most travel prams don’t. It also folds up very neatly! I’ve seen lots of videos on this pram and a friend of mine also recommended it! It was around £99 If I remember correctly.
Like I say I haven’t tried it myself however it’s got amazing reviews! Hope this helps xx

We’ve taken the Joolz Aer many a time with TUI.
The Zummi Eden is a great budget option but it folds much bigger than the Aer/ Butterfly/ YoYo x

You don’t have to check into the hold before you get to the plane, you can usually take to the steps and they put in the hold there, the only disadvantage is not having the pram the other side of the journey through passport / before baggage (though some airlines leave the prams by the steps at the other end too) but we’ve always found a baby carrier best for that anyway as it gives you more hands free x

I hired a Joolz Aer with the parent facing seat through Tiny Explorers for our trip to New Zealand. Put it in the overhead on every flight and it was super easy to fold one handed while I had my daughter in the carrier. Hiring is a great option!

Took my 4 month old on a long haul flight and purchased the ickle bubba Pisces stroller, it folds up and fits in the overhead compartment. When folded it’s the same size as a small hand carry luggage. It was £99 on Amazon!

I have the Joie pact travel stroller , it’s amazing I haven’t used my big pram in over a year and I’ve taken it on holiday on the plane with me not had to put it in the hold. My sister currently borrowing it on her holiday and always got it though and on the flight no problem :) but I did fly with Ryan air not tui xxx
