Would you go to the doctor?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant. Last Thursday, whilst lifting up my daughter, I felt a ping in the middle of my stomach. It didn't really hurt, but it was noticeable. Ever since then, when I lift even light things, or when I walk/stand up I feel a light pain in the area. It is also very sensitive. It's not really overly painful, it really is just a slight niggle. I didn't have anything similar with my first pregnancy. Should I go to the doctor?

I would say better safe than sorry and go get checked out. Better it be nothing than to have it be something and ignore it.

By any chance have you started having stretch marks?! I felt this a few times when I I felt a stretch mark go! BUT above all this, if you are worried, maternity triage will let you know if you need to be there and they will tell you whether it’s a concern but above all if you are worried they would much rather check on baby than not 🩷🩵 and no you aren’t being dramatic, if you are worried then get checked because it’s better that you get the anxiety to go than keep it x

Honestly you're probably 100% fine it sounds like it might be round ligament pain.... But I'm also an advocate of we pay for health insurance go to the doctor to ease your mind- cuz worrying about it isn't worth it

I had this in the gym and freaked out but then it went away and everything is fine! Think it’s just everything is tight and stretching etc. always better to get checked but sounds like one of those random pregnancy things !!

2nd section

My first I had a planned section it was great. My 2nd planned section is next week.

Question - did anyone go earlier 2nd time round? Was it a scary experience?

I’m worried go early. I’ve been told I would still get my section but treated as emergency section but I’m just really worried and anxious about that happening.

7 week scan

Hi,
Has anybody had a 7 week scan for reassurance and did you hear a heart beat / would you recommend it? I don’t feel like I can wait another 3 weeks until my first midwife appointment!

Gunky eye - blocked tear duct

Hi all - my baby is now 4wks 5days old and since she was born gets a gunky right eye, they told me it was due to a blocked tear duct and will go eventually. We clean it with boiled water/ cotton wool but wondered if anyone else’s baby gets this and what may have helped?

Early Scan?

I’m trying to decide on whether or not to book an early scan, it’s my first pregnancy and will be 5wks tomorrow. I’ve had some mild cramping and coloured discharge, according to NHS it’s all normal. I have quite severe anxiety as it is, and this is making me spiral slightly. I’m trying to reassure myself but I don’t know if booking an early scan will help?
