I've recently learnt I need to treat being a SAHM like a job and you don't start out knowing everything about any job so please share your schedules and tips.

I made myself a list of “opening” tasks and “closing” tasks, then a different room to do a more detailed clean each day of the week

Im a year in and still learning. My son doesnt sit down still long enough to teach him anything

Breakfast by 8 lunch by 12 nap by 1230 then dinner by 4 I have 12.11.8 and 8 month old

My previous schedule was to wake up and water the grass and clean the kitchen, wake my kids by 8-8:30, feed them breakfast by 9 the latest. While I made breakfast, they learned the needed to get dressed, make the bed, and brush their teeth. As they are, I got their homeschool lessons for the day out. Then we finish school by 11-12, lunch by 1. After that they were allowed to play what they wanted and I cleaned what I needed to around the house. Make dinner between 5-6, 7 shower them then bed by 830-9. Repeat.
This was all before I just had my baby 😅

Start your washer/dryer and dishwasher before you start tidying up. Other than that it's ABCs: Always be cooking, always be cleaning, & always be caring, though not necessarily in that order. Try tracking what you are doing in a day planner for a while. You'll notice things like how many loads of laundry you do each week, which is the best day or time of day for an outing, an errand, how much time you spend reading to your child, or doing personal tasks. Also look into a few systems and see if meal planning is for you.
