Tired

Been extremely exhausted. I don’t remember the last time I felt some relief. People love to throw the self care advice but that’s just not reality for me right now. I work from home and watch my son solo majority of the days since dad is always working. I feel lonely and all I do is cry these days. Baby isn’t talking much which has been stressful and now he’s refusing meals. Ive read both are normal but it doesn’t help the stress I’m feeling. I don’t have a village to help or friends to vent to or can relate to. This has been the hardest season thus far and I keep wondering when and if it will ever get lighter. Not sure I even have a question. Maybe just looking to relate to anyone in the same season who’s also feeling this way.

Oh love, I’m so sorry you’re carrying all of this on your own❤️ Reading your message, it sounds like you’re completely exhausted and running on empty. Working from home while looking after a toddler is a huge amount for one person and it’s no wonder you’re feeling overwhelmed. I am in the same boat. I totally get it.
Please don’t be too hard on yourself. U r not doing anything wrong. Ur clearly an amazing mum who cares so deeply about her little boy.
I know loneliness can make everything feel ten times heavier. You don’t have to go through this alone though, drop me a message if you need to vent even if it’s just to say today was awful. No judgement, no pressure.
Honestly, I really relate to what you’ve written. I’ve been feeling a lot of the same things lately. Some days I feel so overwhelmed and when ur constantly “on” looking after a toddler, it’s hard to remember what it feels like to have a moment to urself. We can be there for each other. Praying that this season gets easier xxx

Light pink spotting at 5 weeks

Hi! This is my first pregnancy, and I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant. Today, I noticed some light pink spotting when I wiped. Should I be concerned, or can this be normal in early pregnancy? I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow.

Saw this statement & wondered what you all thought about it..

“Having more than one child is selfish because you can lose your life during childbirth & leave one/two children behind”…

What should I do?

I feel embarrassed even posting this but what do yall think?
I feel like I see a very very faint positive but I'm hoping it's just me seeing things but not sure. I am 3 months postpartum. I haven't had an actual period, just spotting that lasted for like 2 1/2 weeks on June 25th is when that spotting happened, on June 24th is when me and ex had sex for the last time pull out method with him and July 4th is when me and this guy I was talking to had sex, no protection and July 11th or 12th is when me and this different guy had sex we used protection that time. I know this is messy. I don't need judgement right now🙂

Rant

Guys I’m sorry to rant but today I genuinely had the worst experience at my 36 week midwife appointment.

I’ve never seen this midwife before and she was just so blunt and rude .

She refused to measure my fundal height , bear in mind I mentioned last time they wrote down the wrong measurement on my notes . I know these aren’t the most accurate but they make me feel better knowing if it’s getting bigger , I had growth scans in the past .

I feel like she accused me of either not taking my iron tablets or taking 84 . I told her I finished my box and she was adamant that I was given 84 and that I’m either lying about taking them or finishing them . Once checking the system it was discovered I was only given 28 🙈.

When I asked to talk about possible birth plan she made a comment that you can’t just schedule a birth plan and not to follow everything I see online . I wasn’t asking for induction or C-section I just wanted to ask about the possibility of a water birth .

The student midwife checked the baby’s heart beat and i wasn’t informed of his position , so I asked and she didn’t seem happy I did . My baby was transverse at my last appointment and I said I was worried that he still was . She followed by ‘what are you worried about ‘ . I said I’m 36 weeks and my baby isn’t head down . What if he stays like that and I deliver before my next appointment?

I’m very paranoid about going over 40 weeks, I’m not sure why I just have anxiety and I mentioned that . For her to then say ‘well he can stay there until 42 weeks if he’s not ready ‘ I understand this is factually correct but I just feel like I was a burden to her today .

Sorry for the rant I’m just really upset about this experience and honestly do not want to attend my next appointment 🙈
