Head Bumps

So… how many times has your baby bumped their head on something in the first 6 months and how often did you panic? for me, she’s on head thump number 7: a door, my shoulder, she fell over while sittin on the floor, my elbow bumped her forehead, the lampshade, she fell back and hit the wall, and she tipped over on the floor and hit her face on my aunts foot. she’s had at least 1 every month since she was born lmao

i accidentally dropped my phone on my son the other day and it bounced into the tub lol he’s 2.5 months old and he was shocked and cried a little but was overall just fine! barely a tiny bruise you have to really look for to even see.

12 month development

Hi guy, wanting some help/advice. I have a 12 month old son. He hasn’t such much yet only dada and up but with no intention/context. He hasn’t clapped/pointed yet. He does understand so much, waves, high fives and shakes hand. Any advice or if someone related to this before? Thank you so much. Worried mom here.

Routine or routine less

Ladies, those with 6/7week olds… what are your days currently looking like?

My little boy is 7 weeks on Wed, and every day is different… bar the wake up at 6am and “bed time” at 9pm (he’s asleep long before this but that’s when I take him up to bed with me and get him in his swaddle). He will then sleep for 3/3.30 hours from 9pm onwards, but hourly after that until 6am. We are very much just winging it with daytime naps and he fights them in the afternoon. He’ll often go for 6 hours awake 🥵🫠

Just interested to see what others days look like.

Bath time!

What do you guys do to make after bath time better? My little one loves to be in the bath but as soon as I take her out, she starts screaming and wont calm down for like 30 minutes. I want to make bath time her bed routine when shes old enough but she currently hates getting out. Any suggestions?

My baby had just turned 4 weeks old and hasn't done a poo in a few days and seems to be straining grunting and crying like he’s uncomfortable and in pain I have tried the bicycle legs and rubbing his stomach have tried most things I can think off🙈he’s breastfed and bottle fed Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have any tips to help them go?

6m appt today

We went to her check up and the dr told us to brush her teeth at night and the morning but to not feed at night once she’s brushed her teeth. She’s 6m, she DOES NOT sleep throughout the night without waking up to feed. He was very adamant too. We won’t be stopping nightly feeds tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bedtime

I’m putting this as sensitive because sleep deprivation can cause a lot of damage and I don’t want to seem tone deaf.

My son goes to bed every night at 7pm and wakes up at 5am. No feeds or wake ups and has been like this since 13 weeks.

I’m so grateful for the long sleep however 5am is so early to get up for the day. I don’t necessarily want to push his sleep back till 8 incase that messes it up completely but I don’t know how I can get him to go for another hour to get a decent wake up time more so for him.

Is anyone having this issue?
