Blessed to say this is my case!

yes, blessed to say that this was my experience. i will say our “issues” didn’t show up until postpartum but i think that’s standard when adjusting to the first baby and it’s never been anything too intense or heavy. i put issues in quotation marks because i think it’s just my internalized postpartum resentment or whatever but im not sure, still figuring it out. but happy to say, pregnancy was a beautiful experience with my partner.

My husband was literally so amazing during my pregnancy. I had so many health complications during it and he was incredibly loving and supportive. We had arguments, but we resolved them

Me and my husband are still living a fairy tale. I haven't left my soft girl era since we've been together. He's a damn good husband and father. Goes above and beyond to make sure me and the kids are happy and asks for nothing in return. When I was pregnant, I was pampered.. even if I had a attitude. Well I still am, attitude and all lol every journey/chapter is an amazing one as long as he's with me❤️

I'm so lost

My husband had been having an affair for almost a year. I uncovered this when I was 3 months pregnant.

My baby is 11 months now, and we have been trying to rebuild. Someday, I think we are making progress. He has been spending family time with us and taking leave from work to be with us more.

However, today, he was upset about how I speak of his family. I got emotional telling him that I can never respect his family after they barely checked in on me whilst I was pregnant because it was more comfortable for them to brush his affair under a rug and not face it.

He became so cold and horrible. He told me I always deflect whenever he talks about his feelings. He said him being upset has become about why I'm now upset. I don't disagree with this.

However, what upset me was how he was acting towards me. He swore at me, told me to stay in my room, and told me I'd never change. He then proceeded to send me a long message about how I take no accountability, and he can't be upset because he's done worse . He swore at me while holding our baby. He then shouted at me while we were out. I was crying, and he told me to sort my face out before I got out the car while I was in tears.

We never ever argue in front of our baby, so today has been difficult for me seeing how he was being in front of baby. He seemed to have just lost it. It's not a regular occurrence, but I'm just so lost. I can't leave him because I stupidly love him.

Has anyone been through something similar or knows anyone who has? Any advice?

Need some honest advice

Hi moms, I need some advice.

I’m a first-time mom and 9 months pregnant. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I got into an argument over something that honestly didn’t seem like a huge deal to me. During the argument, he said, “I’m just speaking my mind to you—don’t be surprised if I get up one day and leave you.”

Since then, I haven’t been able to get those words out of my head. Today he’s acting nice and everything seems normal, but I can’t stop thinking about what he said. It really hurt me, and now I feel like I’ve lost trust in him completely.

Am I overthinking this because I’m so close to giving birth, or would those words stick with you too? How would you handle this?

Mat leave loneliness

Anyone else got to 8 months pp and starting to feel a bit lonely? I never really felt this until now so I guess I’m lucky but wasn’t expecting to feel like this now?! I do go out and see people a couple of times a week but as my partner works full time and is also studying in the evenings I think it’s starting to take its toll and feel like we don’t get the family time I dreamed of much. Just wondering if anyone else was feeling lonely and anything in particular that helped them?
