Rolling…

14 week baby started rolling 2 weeks ago, this morning I have found him face down (I panicked straight away and turned him on his back) - he was fine. 5 mins later he is sound asleep on his side!

He can’t roll front to back yet. Neck control is improving daily but I’m terrified to sleep now.

Any advice welcome🥲

Advice is that if they get themselves in a position they can be left that way x

Mine was a tummy sleeper from the day she learnt to roll! I did check on her a lot the first couple of days but because she was rolling so much it didn't take long before she was much more able to sort herself out (pull her arm out etc). In my experience if they want to move but can't they will let you know.

Make sure you always put down to sleep on their back but if he then moves he can sleep that way x

I used a sleepsack at that time and it worked, it helped her stay sleeping on her back. 0.5 tog one should be okay for warm weather.

If he gets himself in that position it's fine. Continue to put him down on his back, but let him wriggle if he wants to 😊

Always turn them back but don't panic too much if there head control is good! Xx

Why is my baby struggling to poo?

My baby had just turned 4 weeks old and hasn't done a poo in a few days and seems to be straining grunting and crying like he’s uncomfortable and in pain I have tried the bicycle legs and rubbing his stomach have tried most things I can think off🙈he’s breastfed and bottle fed Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have any tips to help them go?

Should I wake up my baby?

My 7 week old has her own routine, she goes to sleep around 7-8 and wakes up around 11pm n 12 am to feed, however, sometimes she goes to bed later than that and still asleep by the time she’s meant to wake up, does that make sense?
So should I wake her up or should I wait for her to wake up? I never woke her up during the night to feed.
Thank you ☺️

3 month old sleeping

My baby boy is 3 months and 3 weeks, when do you know if your baby is ready to be in their own room.

Nappy brands?

Best nappies out there?
Was using aldi size 2, but moved to fred & flo which seem to hold pee better.
Using last of aldi we have, but seems an awkward fit and has caused friction burn.

Absorption pattern seems to change in size 3 fred & flo so wondering if baby will leak through them as well!

Baby boy is 12lb 5 for ref.

Thanks!

Has anyone ever taken extended sick leave for mental health (while pregnant or not)?

I’ve taken a week off work as sick leave to try and recover a little as lately I’m so physically and mentally exhausted, I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my second child. Life has just been full on and I need a minute to gather myself. I thought 1 week would be enough but honestly I could really do with a slightly extended period of time.

I have a midwife appointment on Friday so I thought I’d mention it to her and then arrange a GP appointment Monday but I feel so awkward bringing up mental health, like I’m not depressed or struggling massively, it’s more of a overwhelmed feeling, I just need some time off you know. I don’t wanna be put on some sort of list or get judged for it.

Is it hard to get a sick note? Is the GP going to interrogate me or refer me to someone/somewhere?
