Currently heartbroken

How are you healing from heartbreak? It's been 8 months since my husband walked out on me and my 2 little children. He said I was too controlling he didn't feel like himself with me. He basically said he missed his single life. I told him I do too! But we are parents now, there are supposed to be major changes. He wasn't with that and has barely contacted us. I'll spare you the details but it was like I was raising a man child who was neglecting my kids and my feelings. He just threw us away like trash it feels and I'm left to put everything together. On top of that, I'm super alone with no friends and family anywhere close.

I fight tears everyday just to do basic things. It's so hard. Has anyone been this heartbroken? If so, how are you doing and how are you getting through the pain?

Well wishes to you all.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. My prayers are with you and I hope god gives you the strength to push forward for your children.

Not that it matters because y’all are married but are those his biological children?

I can relate! My husband says those things when we fight as well that I act like his mom and stuff like that and all I do is try to help him understand where I am coming from and I’m so sorry he walked out one of my fears

My ex husband cheated, had a second family, convinced my family I was on drugs and even had me questioning if I was blacking out or not because of my DID and walked out one day without a single word while my kids were in school. Luckily, I did not have any children by this man, but my kids called him dad and this ruined my relationship with my family and friends. I completely understand the feeling of being alone after such savage heartbreak, but i also know that there are way better men out there. I was 5 months pregnant when my now husband and I got together. (Ex bf not ex husband tg). Ex bf ended up just moving across the country giving up his rights to the rest of his kids and turned into a woman. My husband adopted my daughter at birth. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me in my life. He showed me what real love looks like. There's someone out there for you too. Who will love you through all your crazy. I promise. If I found mine, you can Def find yours.

Night rage

My toddler is 4 and has been awake since 2am (now 5) I just got so frustrated with them for not sleeping I shouted and hit the bed with my hand which immediately made them start crying the guilt I felt was immense at my outburst. So extra comforting apologised explained I'm tried and sorry and love them so much and listed all the things I love their family love etc and gave cuddles and head strokes.
I'm a single mum and struggling with no help or not as much as I actually need and if I'm honest I'd be someone who NEEDED night help but it never came. I just feel so guilty for what I just did. I am a general gentle parent but I will have outburst of just pure rage and I feel so awful like I'm going to damage my child.

Half and half

I’ve been breastfeeding my little one for 5 months now and I’m totally done with it im not gonna lie. I don’t make enough by pump to put into a bottle so was thinking of doing half breastmilk half formula. Then maybe trying to increase my supply to just do breastmilk. But my partner is really against formula due to the additive in it? He’s not nasty about it at all he just really doesn’t want it to happen. I’m not really sure what to do.

Breastfed babies

Can someone help me? My daughter is 6 weeks. I breastfeed and bottle feed so that it’s easier for my bf to feed our daughter. But lately she hasn’t been eating her whole bottle and preferring boob. Eventually I get tired of fighting her and feel bad she’s not eating so I give her boob but once I am back at work it will be so hard to get her to eat. Does anyone struggle with this? What do i do? 🥲

Moving baby from bassinet to pushchair

I have such a big concern around this! My four month old daughter absolutely hates the bassinet now. We have tried her in the pushchair.. she still seems too small! The shoulder straps are on the shortest setting with still big gaps. What do we do? Has anyone come up with any clever ideas to make this work.. she hates going out now. It's so stressful 😭
