Painful joints

I'm 12 weeks pp, and when I wake up in the morning, or just before I go to bed at night my joints hurt so much! Particularly in my ankles, knees and hips!

I'm 33 but feel much older! Anyone else feeling this or should I get this investigated? 👀

If you can afford it I would recommend seeing a physiotherapist qualified in "Mummy MOT". They will go through everything and recommend exercises for any aches and pains as well as your core and pelvic floor.

Omg my knees have been so sore since having my baby! I'm 14 week pp and my knees are making me feel like an old lady 😂 I read somewhere that the relaxin hormone can stay in your body for months especially if breastfeeding. It loosens ligaments ready for childbirth and can leave your knees/joints less stable! Apparently it improves once hormones level out thankfully so hopefully we won't be feeling like old ladies for too long 😂

One piece of advice?

If you could give only one piece of advice for someone planning on a VBAC after a traumatic first labour/delivery experience, who is really nervous about going into labour and giving birth.. what would your advice be?

Induction at 37 weeks

I understand every pregnancy is different, but I’m curious. For those who were induced at 37 weeks, what was your experience like and how long did it take? This is my second pregnancy, my first induction was at 40 weeks, and my body was a lot more ready to go, so he came out fairly quickly. We will be induced in a couple days, my cervix is at zero, and only 20% effaced but he is at least pretty far down. 😅

We have discussed the possibility of needing a C-section and my C-section unfortunately would have to be completely under sedation as I cannot get any form of epidural or spinal.

Does pain ever override your other senses?

Chronic pain / chronic illness girlies what’s upppp

Ok so I was at a wedding of my very close friends at a farm this past weekend my son was in the wedding as the flower boy all super cute but that means we were there for the rehearsal dinner and drinks, the wedding day was busy of course, and then the next day my husband helped with take down of tables etc and we had to go pick up our car. Luckily we had help from grandparents so we could enjoy our time

ANYWHOOOO

I overdid it so badly because I hate making other peoples life events about me and my pain. Like could barely walk for 2 days after kinds of pain. So only now a few days later do I realize I’m legit covered in bug bites from the farm on my legs. And they’re so itchy and annoying and my family is like how are you only noticing days later I’m like guys my pain was overriding my other senses I didn’t notice because my body was so focused on the pain. And that was very confusing for them. Do you guys know what I’m talking about ??
