Mine started yesterday, 7 weeks after C section and it’s heavy and painful 😣 I’m taking paracetamol every 4 hrs

Mine was exactly the same as this came back so fast and so heavy 😩

Yes, they come back quickly. It is a horrible time and no one prepares for the aftermath of a c- section

Awful, heavy and so painful; worse than they were pre pregnancy - i’m 5 months pp and they do get better and more manageable but those first few periods afterwards… big fat no thank you.

After my last csection (3rd) theyve been the most painful and heavy ive ever had. I had to be hospitali once due to passing out from blood loss. Ive no idea why its so bad but now ive gone on the pill it seems to have gotten better. Ive only had one period since I started but it was the only one that didnt have me completely out of action for days. Might be worth trying it 😊

Mine was 8 weeks exactly, first period was fine but last few have been horrendous, baby is 6 months now x

I’m currently 6 months post partum and my periods are literally a crime scene, pre pregnancy I had the lightest flow that last 2-3 days and now it’s almost a week

Mine were a little heavy pre pregnancy and would last 3-4 days, since having my little girl (now 9 months) I have an even heavier period but still for 3-4 days, personally day 2 is the WORST so I just try to be prepared as possible 😂😭x

Mine was horrendously heavy and LONG for about 3 cycles and then they started to taper off. I actually went to the GP as I was soaking so many pads and was sent for an ultrasound etc and it was normal. My daughters 16 months and they became really regular again the last 5 months x

Same but mine was like it's hot and it's cold it's yes and it's no bc I thought it was my period but no I would be bleeding from the birth then stop then bleed🫠

Avatar

Like normal but my normal is pretty heavy. But my heavy flow is lasting over 5 days

One piece of advice?

If you could give only one piece of advice for someone planning on a VBAC after a traumatic first labour/delivery experience, who is really nervous about going into labour and giving birth.. what would your advice be?

Induction at 37 weeks

I understand every pregnancy is different, but I’m curious. For those who were induced at 37 weeks, what was your experience like and how long did it take? This is my second pregnancy, my first induction was at 40 weeks, and my body was a lot more ready to go, so he came out fairly quickly. We will be induced in a couple days, my cervix is at zero, and only 20% effaced but he is at least pretty far down. 😅

We have discussed the possibility of needing a C-section and my C-section unfortunately would have to be completely under sedation as I cannot get any form of epidural or spinal.

Does pain ever override your other senses?

Chronic pain / chronic illness girlies what’s upppp

Ok so I was at a wedding of my very close friends at a farm this past weekend my son was in the wedding as the flower boy all super cute but that means we were there for the rehearsal dinner and drinks, the wedding day was busy of course, and then the next day my husband helped with take down of tables etc and we had to go pick up our car. Luckily we had help from grandparents so we could enjoy our time

ANYWHOOOO

I overdid it so badly because I hate making other peoples life events about me and my pain. Like could barely walk for 2 days after kinds of pain. So only now a few days later do I realize I’m legit covered in bug bites from the farm on my legs. And they’re so itchy and annoying and my family is like how are you only noticing days later I’m like guys my pain was overriding my other senses I didn’t notice because my body was so focused on the pain. And that was very confusing for them. Do you guys know what I’m talking about ??
