I feel so depressed and alone.

I don’t know what’s going on but genuinely the start of my pregnancy was really good then second trimester came in was good but depression started coming down like a brick. Now in the third trimester with 8 weeks left i feel utterly depressed and alone. Not feeling supported by my partner either which i guess is playing a factor i just feel so low within myself i don’t like being awake i just want to sleep all the time so i dont feel these feelings.

Please speak to your midwife and they can help. It’s possible to have depression before baby. My husband has taken a wee while to realise how much I’ve struggled with things around the house as my pregnancy has progressed. Not making excuses, but really don’t think they realise how tiring and difficult it is to do normal daily life heavily pregnant! Xx

Contraception

What are people's thoughts on contraception. I honestly hate the fact it has to be me that has to think about it an do something. Any advice on different types?

What are your thoughts on Tonie boxes?

I'm going to a 1yo birthday party soon and I'm looking for some gift ideas.
What do you think about Tonie boxes?
Are they good or is it mostly just marketing?
would that make you happy to receive one?
would it be suitable for a 1yo gift?

thanks ladies!

Do you ever get annoyed by the ignorance of some people on here? I mean, they’re raising the next generation..

Boyfriend's Co-worker

Ok ladies, please be honest. How would yall feel if your boyfriend told you that a woman that he works closely with, who he talks about several times a night every night already, was the "nicest woman he's ever met in his life". It really hurt my feelings and he thinks I'm being ridiculous. Would you be ok with it or would you feel hurt?

Looking for my bestie 👀

Hey all! I'm Jade, I'm 29 from Australia,
I'm honestly just looking for a bestie I can talk to about everything.
I have 3 special needs kiddies and I just love a good chat, messaging, voice notes, calls, or walks if you're close.
Would be down for any messages!
(Don't judge my horrible hair, I'm growing it out after rocking a buzz cut 🤣)

Follow up question: did anyone skip playgroups when your other children were newborns?

Based on my other poll about bringing ACTIVELY sick children to playgroups, did any Mum's skip playgroups when your other children were newborns? Due to the lack of proper judgement from others, I plan on skipping all playgroups for the first few months after our 2nd is born (probably until he is 4 months). To me it isn't worth the risk at ALL, rather not have one person's choice equal to a hospital stay for us. Just wondering if any other Mums have done something similar? Also es I am aware I can leave our 2nd with my husband and just take our toddler... But he can still take something home with him, so again not worth it
