It’s been 22 hours post surgery. Baby is happy and healthy but I’m having a really rough time with pain. Not sure if it’s due to uterus contractions or the surgery itself but I’m having immense pain that’s not at all tolerable. Hospital nurses and doc expect me to sit and even walk. How to cope with this?

As hard as it sounds, movement is your best friend. Sitting too long makes it so much worse. Try move around little and often. Get them to give you some codeine for the pain. I know it awful and it doesn't seem like the right option now, but trust the doctors and nurses. They'll help you get back on your feet its really touch for the first few days. Best of luck ♡

Ice packs and heat pads😅 also the approved pain meds. And the belly band during exertion.
I drank chamomile at nights with turmeric too to help with inflammation
Eta- I also agree w/ movement. I walked the hospital halls & walked daily after going home (ive had 3 csection)
