Some might say I’m overthinking but idk. My coworker friends have all suddenly quit one by one within a few months from each other. I know the job was fine but the management sucked. And since I have been on maternity leave it seems that everyone has lost contact with me. Only me. How do I know this because they post get togethers on their stories and didn’t even asked me. Why do I care right? Because I thought we were more than coworkers, but friends. We would go to events all the time, dinners, outings but since I’m the only mom of the group I feel now forgotten. Is it selfish for me to feel this or should I try to just accept that I’m going to need to look for new friends and just move on.

I’ve heard a lot of moms say, once they have babies, especially if you are the first of the friend group, most of their friends slowly fizzle away. For some people it’s intimidating to think about having kids, for others, they don’t want to be doing activities that revolve around kids. I’m sure there’s a million different reasons. Have you tried to reach out to them? I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’m sure it was super hurtful to see them all together. 💛
I reach out in away of not letting them know the way I really feel. I act more like it doesn’t bother because I guess I don’t want to come out of like desperate. I go on tik tok to hear of lots of peep talks of trying not to care and focus more on what really matters. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate and feel herd ☺️

When I got pregnant all of my family and friends abandoned me or intentionally tried stressing me out... My point being sometimes it's best not to have them types of people around
