I felt well enough to at 12 weeks personally and started off quite a bit lighter than I left off

Hey Melanie! I personally have had a c section and returned to exercise AND I am a double certified pregnancy and postpartum fitness coach. I help women do exactly what you’re asking about. Would love to connect either here or IG @iamamandakyle

I also started about 12 weeks but worked a lot on rebuilding my core. So I did a lot of breathing workouts and different kinds of PT like exercises. Once I felt like I was comfortable to do those movements without any pain or extreme discomfort, I started slowly getting back into squatting and lifting weights. I definitely went lighter than I did before and focused more on proper form. You definitely need to take things slow and make your workouts a little more intentional considering pregnancy and the C-section. I hope this helps!

I started doing weights at 5 weeks from c-section.
But once I got the all clear I started to swim! But I worked out entire pregnancy so I had no issue!

Pregnancy kicked my butt. My hips, knees, and ankles developed arthritis. My right knee has osteoarthritis. I was working out 12 weeks postpartum no problem. I felt like I was losing a little weight. Then my lower body started hurting so badly. I couldn't bend my knees. My ankles were locking. I have only been able to ride a stationary bike and do upper body and core. I feel so fat and uncomfortable.
