Growth Scans 29 weeks

I’ve recently been to see my midwife for a growth check on bump and they’ve marked it as a Red Cross, I am only 29 weeks with my first but they are saying he is 0.1mm too small 🥴 and breech so I’m now having an emergency scan on Monday has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned or planning a planned c section…

My midwife said with regards to him being breech that they still have more than enough room to move about so I wouldn’t panic about it too much as by the time Monday comes he could have moved xx

I wouldn't worry at all. Fundal height measurements are well documented to be inaccurate. The scan is an appropriate next step but even they are not accurate at estimating weight! It's an educated estimate rather than an actual measurement. As you get further along they actually get less accurate!

It's definitely not time to be worrying about a c section (if that wasn't your plan anyway), what makes you think that you now need one? Because baby is breech? If so there's a lot of time left for them to move!

I don't think you need to worry yet! Babies have lots of space to move still so I don't think being breech at this point is worrying. Seems weird they would be saying he's 0.1mm too small! Are you sure they didn't say he was on 0.1 percentile? 0.1mm is surely smaller than they can even measure!

Should I be worried?

My little girl is 5 months and isn't rolling yet. Should I be worried?

She went through a small phase where she rolled a few times (tummy to back) for like 3 or 4 consecutive days and then she started teething and stopped rolling. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not putting any pressure on her as I know every baby grows at their own pace but Should I be worried?

C-section..

Anyone else feel like some people minimise or don’t appreciate how hard a C-section is?
I have 2 friends who both had vaginal births one that said to me “I wish I’d just got a C-section” like it’s super easy? (She gave birth the day before me and she knows I had one) She’s said a few other things as well and I did once say “but you haven’t had a C-section” because she was basically insinuating that it’s easier
The other one when I was talking about maybe going for a VBAC said “as someone who had a natural birth, I’d just get the C-section”

I find it odd as this is coming from people who haven’t had one and know nothing about the experience? I’d never say vaginal is easy because I haven’t done it myself so I think it would be an ignorant thing to say
It just makes me feel really shitty because I really struggled after my C-section, my recovery was pretty rough but no one even asks or tries to understand before assuming it’s just easy

Lump in thigh.

My 3 month old had her second lot of vaccines on 22nd and has developed a massive hard lump where the injection was. She is refusing to bend her leg unless it’s of her own will.

Anyone else have this with their baby? Should I be concerned? Google said a pea size lump is normal but this is bigger than a pee.

Am I a bad mum?

Fully in the depths of teething, separation phase, learning new skills and tricks, sleep a little all over the place… I really need a few hours to myself but I feel bad for even saying it. Been awake since 3:50am and little one has only just gone back to sleep but now I’m awake and can’t stop crying. This week has been hard!! Can’t help but feel like the worst mum for wanting a few hours away from my baby and partner tbh…
All I can honestly say is W T F is this 9 month phase 😒

Sore hips

Does anyone have any advice on sleeping on your side? I’m struggling every night with such intense pain on both my hips when I try and sleep on my side! I’m alright walking around but soon as I’m on my side it’s just so much pain. I’ve tried a few different maternity pillows in different shapes to try and help but not found anything yet and it’s stopping me sleeping at the moment x
