I am getting baby fever.

Hi everyone,
As mentioned in the title, I am getting baby fever. I want to have another baby but I had my girl on August 2025. My husband is saying he will do what I want to but, some people are telling me to wait but I don’t know if I want to wait. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Personally I would wait as just having both kids similar age going through difficult stages can be hard I found the age of 2 hard I can’t imagine two kids going through that at a similar stage but some people like them close in age so it’s up to you and what you feel, I’m having my second now and my first is 3 is August which I feel is the right age gap for me, I c at imagine myself having a smaller age gap than that x

I had 23 months between mine and it’s been the hardest thing ever. I think it depends how much help you have, me and my partner have none it’s literally just us juggling everything. That being said age 1-2 and age 2 have been absolutely wild and even if I had the support I think I’d have struggled just as much 😅 my friend had a 3 year age gap and everything seemed a lot calmer for her, she didn’t need a double buggy either her daughter didn’t run off etc too everything seemed a bit more manageable than my wild life haha 😅 x

Ive heard that waiting a bit longer can be good as means you get more time to be fully present for your toddlers milestones. And if they are a bit older once baby arrives they understand more and can also be a bit more independent / helpful.

Should I be worried?

My little girl is 5 months and isn't rolling yet. Should I be worried?

She went through a small phase where she rolled a few times (tummy to back) for like 3 or 4 consecutive days and then she started teething and stopped rolling. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not putting any pressure on her as I know every baby grows at their own pace but Should I be worried?

C-section..

Anyone else feel like some people minimise or don’t appreciate how hard a C-section is?
I have 2 friends who both had vaginal births one that said to me “I wish I’d just got a C-section” like it’s super easy? (She gave birth the day before me and she knows I had one) She’s said a few other things as well and I did once say “but you haven’t had a C-section” because she was basically insinuating that it’s easier
The other one when I was talking about maybe going for a VBAC said “as someone who had a natural birth, I’d just get the C-section”

I find it odd as this is coming from people who haven’t had one and know nothing about the experience? I’d never say vaginal is easy because I haven’t done it myself so I think it would be an ignorant thing to say
It just makes me feel really shitty because I really struggled after my C-section, my recovery was pretty rough but no one even asks or tries to understand before assuming it’s just easy

Lump in thigh.

My 3 month old had her second lot of vaccines on 22nd and has developed a massive hard lump where the injection was. She is refusing to bend her leg unless it’s of her own will.

Anyone else have this with their baby? Should I be concerned? Google said a pea size lump is normal but this is bigger than a pee.

Am I a bad mum?

Fully in the depths of teething, separation phase, learning new skills and tricks, sleep a little all over the place… I really need a few hours to myself but I feel bad for even saying it. Been awake since 3:50am and little one has only just gone back to sleep but now I’m awake and can’t stop crying. This week has been hard!! Can’t help but feel like the worst mum for wanting a few hours away from my baby and partner tbh…
All I can honestly say is W T F is this 9 month phase 😒

Sore hips

Does anyone have any advice on sleeping on your side? I’m struggling every night with such intense pain on both my hips when I try and sleep on my side! I’m alright walking around but soon as I’m on my side it’s just so much pain. I’ve tried a few different maternity pillows in different shapes to try and help but not found anything yet and it’s stopping me sleeping at the moment x
