I’m going to change my baby’s bedtime to 7:30/8 tonight. She was going about 9/9:30 but it’s too late for her now. She’s started to not sleep very well at night after being a really good sleeper for the first 10 weeks.
If she goes down between 7 & 8 do I need to stay with her next to her? I know there’s quite strict guidance around being with them at all times when they’re asleep, regardless of whether it’s a day time nap or not. But if she goes down at 7:30 can I do stuff in that window until I sleep? Or do I need to be next to her?
Just wondering anyone whose baby goes to sleep around that time if they stay with them ect. Thank you x

I put my little boy down between 7-8 and just have the monitor on and keep going up to check every so often till I go bed x

I go downstairs and leave my monitor on her whilst I enjoy my evening. It’s what you personally feel comfortable with tbh! X

My LO is 9 weeks we usually start her bedtime routine at about 7 which is bath bottle sleep she’s usually down about 7:30/45 I put her in her crib and quietly sneak out to the living room. I have an angel monitor to track her breathing and will go off if there’s any abnormalities and a camera monitor on her so I can keep an eye on her and enjoy my evening with my partner relaxing. She’s very good and usually sleeps right up to about 5/6 occasionally 7 or 8 xx

We give our 11wo a bottle about 6/ 6.30 then he sleeps in a crib downstairs with us until about 9.30, then we go up, give him another bottle and he sleeps until about 4/5, boob, then asleep again until about 8.30/ 9 x
