Confused mummy

My baby will be 18months old in a few days, and she is still nursing(breastfeeeding). My plan is to stop nursing her at 20months. My husband wants her to start nursery in a month’s time but i have mixed feelings about it as i work from home with one day away from home.
She has never had bottled milk but she uses sippy cups or a normal cup quite well to drink her water.
Please advise on how to go about weaning her and the nursery bit ( is it a good idea or it it too early for her?)
Thanks

Hi there, not early at all. I sent mine away to nursery when she was 11 months ! She has been exclusively breastfed, never taken a bottle. She has settled well in the nursery. She is 2.5 now, attending nursery still breastfeeding !
Good luck with the transition x

My son started nursery at around 14 months for 2 days a week, I would send him with a bottle of expressed milk but he stopped drinking it after a while. In hindsight he probably didn’t like the bottle itself. I weaned at 20 months by moving him onto breastmilk in a sippy cup, then mixed this with cows milk to ease him into it. Prior to weaning he always refused cows milk.

I’m a little unsure . I never breastfed my babies that along . I would just start slow . Explain to your husband it may take some time . I do know some mommies have a hard time transitioning. I would just start very slowly

My little girl is 18 months and has been at nursery for 3 months. Shes also still breastfed. She doesn’t have any milk whilst at nursery despite them offering her cows milk - she just doesn’t want it. She just drinks water whilst she’s there.
She’s absolutely fine and still following her curve for weight.
She feeds first thing in the morning, before we for nursery, when we get home, throughout the evening and before bed as normal.
I don’t plan on weaning until 2 years unless she chooses to before then. She still shows the same interest in breastfeeding as she did before she started at nursery.

Am i crazy?

So baby is 5 months old.. still in the next to me, unfortunately her cot doesnt fit in our room so now i am debating buying a “space saver cot” which would allow us to have her with us for longer?
She is the only baby , not planning anymore either and she sleeps through the night since day 1 so she is no trouble at all!
Am i just being crazy in here ? 😅 just feel like i am not ready for my baby girl to go to her own room yet.
Anyone else with the same issue?

What happened to my sweet boy

My baby was the best sleeper since 2 months old. 7:30pm- 6:30am every night without waking. Weaving started out great too - happy to try everything but now at almost 8months he’s a different child. Refuses any and all foods - even ones he loved, and his sleep is a mess. Goes down at 7:30 but sometimes wakes up after 30 minutes and won’t go back down until 10, wakes up panicking a throughout the night and can’t seem to settle for the rest of the tonight and is awake from 5am. I don’t know what’s happened to make these changes but I want my old baby back 😭 what can I do to settle his nights and get him to enjoy weaning again? I’m beyond exhausted and at my whits end at this point.

Please help. My two years has awful separation anxiety

I've been blessed with the most loving, little girl, but her separation anxiety has become really difficult.
For the last six weeks, she's constantly been saying things like, "Mummy gone now," "Daddy gone to work," or "Where's my mummy?" She'll repeat these phrases over and over again, screaming them at the top of her lungs for long periods. It feels like she's stuck in a loop that she can't get herself out of.
What I'm struggling with is that it isn't always triggered by us actually leaving. Sometimes it's completely understandable, like nursery drop-off, which she suddenly finds really upsetting even though she never used to. But most of the time it happens for reasons that don't seem to make sense.
She can be perfectly happy playing, completely calm, and have had our full attention, cuddles and reassurance all day. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, one of us might stand up from the table, walk to the other side of the room, pop around a corner where she can still hear us, or even just move around while she's still able to see us, and she'll become absolutely frantic.
Today, for example, we were in the garden together. She was happily playing and I simply walked across the garden to tidy up some toys. I was still in the garden with her, never out of sight, and our garden isn't even big, but she immediately went into full panic mode.
It doesn't seem to matter whether she's already upset or whether she's been getting plenty of attention beforehand. She can go from completely content to inconsolable in seconds, simply because one of us has moved away slightly.

In a nutshell, she seems to need one of us or preferably both me and my husband right beside her almost 24/7. Even the smallest amount of distance, or the thought that one of us might be leaving, is enough to trigger a huge meltdown. It feels like her anxiety has escalated so much that she can't tolerate even tiny separations, and we're really struggling to understand what's causing it or how best to help her.

It’s like living with this mini atomic bomb and you can feel like your walking on egg shells because just freely moving around has become this awkward things to do. Not sure if this is a phase, developmental or something else. Family members are noticing and it has on occasion made them feel uncomfortable because of all of the repeating she does. Please help because I’m not sure what we can do as we really do try everything and explain nobody’s leaving and we always come back to her very quickly.

Night time nappy changes

Any tips for this? My baby wakes a couple of times in the night for feeds and a lot of the time has a poo in her nappy either before or after the feed. When I change her before she ends up screaming because she’s hungry and if I change her after she struggles to get back to sleep. 12 week old and breast feeding and sleeps in a sleep sack

Sleep help

Any advice on how to get longer stretches of sleep? Our 11 week old still wakes every two hours for a feed and we're shattered!
