I have been a stay at home mom for three years now and now have another newborn. I honestly don’t think I can do it anymore. I wanna put my kids in daycare and go back to work. Has anyone put their kids in daycare just so they can go back to work? What made you decide and did you regret it?

My baby is 9 months and I’m super ready for work. I found a home daycare with people I trust very much so that definitely helps with that anxiety. And having a job really helps with a change of scenery! I’m super excited to go back

My baby isn’t a baby anymore, but I put him in daycare when he was about 10 months old. I always knew I’d go back to work immediately after my maternity leave. I started looking for daycares when i was still pregnant. I found a nice facility for him to go to and he went there up until pre-k. No regrets.

I went back at 8 months PP and took my baby with me. I am a preschool teacher.. but I quit after my child got assaulted by one of his teachers and filed a police report and filed a complaint with the school as well with the state.

I have a very close friend who did that. Honestly, it saved her sanity and her relationship with her son.

I will be going back to work, my husband and I decided it's better for mum to maintain work skills, have a life away from being a parent/wife and socialise. The extra money also nice.
Nothing wrong with those who choose to or need to stay home it is a decision the couple needs to make for their own family.

I’m in the same predicament. My daughter is two and I don’t have to go back but would love to.
