Disability Pay on 1099

Is there a way to get disability pay when leaving a 1099 job? Or will i just get paid nothing 😭 I already know maternity leave is a no go apparently :(

i wouldn’t know exactly but this is what google says of that helps! “Yes, you can get disability pay after leaving a 1099 independent contractor job, but it depends entirely on whether you paid into a private or state disability program beforehand”

How does the nursery funding work? Is it 15 or 30 free hours? I am currently self employed and getting maternity allowance until December 2026.

My daughter was born on 2nd April, so does this mean we will have to wait until April 1st to start the new term, I've heard it's either January 1st, April 1st or September 1st?

I feel so lonely, i have been in us for 5 years and i didn't make a good friend, most of them need something or help or drive from me , no real friend, i had alot of friends in my country and i was loved from alot of people, but when i came to us iam shocked no social life nothing, what i can do how i can find a good friend
