My little one is 9 weeks old and I have been prescribed the mini pill beguins with a d at the 8 week check (not that I got much of one, only checked scar as asked and thats all she did)
Has anyone else started it. Has everything been okay? i worked to hard build more supply pumping dont want it to affect that and worried what will go to my little boy.
Was on pill 10 years before dont know why im so hesitant to do it again reading side affects just scary when read it
Know I need something as had c section and dont want to risk it with tracking cycles not reliable or the risk worries me

Sorry, this post popped up on my feed - is it desogestral you've been prescribed? I personally feel it is the best one for mini pills. I am on Cerelle, which is the brand name for desogesteral and it is fantastic! I feel like me and it doesn't affect my mood. It won't affect your supply or what goes into baby either. The mini pill is the only pill you can use while breastfeeding. Just remember to try and take it at the same time everyday. Check your leaflet though as some have a 6 hour or 12 hour window in case you forget to take it 😊

Have you thought about the arm implant? I’m 12 weeks postpartum from C-section and I decided to get the implant and I haven’t had any problems with milk supply. It’s honestly a lifesaver I don’t have to worry about forgetting to take a pill. Because once you forget to take the pill one day it messes up your whole system and it won’t work as well.

How does the nursery funding work? Is it 15 or 30 free hours? I am currently self employed and getting maternity allowance until December 2026.

My daughter was born on 2nd April, so does this mean we will have to wait until April 1st to start the new term, I've heard it's either January 1st, April 1st or September 1st?

Is it just me?

So I joined this to make friends find connections, but I feel like I connected with some people had some conversations and then it just dies out fades out. I feel like and I might be the only one here, but I feel like some people are just on here just to know about other moms and then that’s it, or read posts of Mom‘s going through things and that’s just not why I did this like I moved to a town where I am new here. I don’t know anybody I’m a new mom well, he’s 18 months now but still I’m a new mom. He’s my only son you know and like I do everything and anything for him like 24/7 he is my life so I forgot about who I am and I’m trying to make friends here like I’m trying to create something so when it comes to his birthday parties I have Mom friends that bring kids! My older sister has kids and I go to her birthday parties they’re huge! I’m not jealous but at the same time, I envy that because that’s what I want. I want connections I want friends I want my son to have friends, I feel like maybe some people are just like here for the wrong reasons it sucks! I’m really here to try to make connections and I wish I can get the same effort I’m putting in back. Don’t get me wrong I connected with one girl and it’s been great haven’t set a play date yet.

but I know I’m ranting right now but that’s just how I feel and it’s hurtful the whole reason for this app is to feel better about not feeling like your the only one and there are people out there but I’m trying and it’s just been frustrating I guess

Is there a way to get disability pay when leaving a 1099 job? Or will i just get paid nothing 😭 I already know maternity leave is a no go apparently :(

Mirena coil- feeling tired and a bit down

I had the mirena inserted this time last week and I’m pretty sure in that time period I’m noticing that I’m feeing extremely tired almost reminds me of pregnancy tiredness and struggling to get out of bed in the morning plus slightly moody. Has anyone experienced this? I do have a 4 month old and 2 other kids so I’m obviously a bit run down at times but I do tend to run on adrenaline quite well and I do think in the last week I’ve felt different and quite foggy I just can’t explain it. Not lost much blood so I’m fine in that department. Unless I’m just genuinely tired and moody I’ve no idea. The doctor who fitted it really recommended it to me over the copper coil but now I’m starting to wish I had the copper one as it’s not hormonal. Would really appreciate anyone’s advice as feeling a bit rubbish x
