Why are there so many asshole white older male drivers in the UK?

I’m waiting with a pram at a zebra crossing and the cars stop in both directions. I thank the car on the right as I cross, then I thank the van on the left. About midway the van starts to creep forward so he gets very close to us as we finish crossing. I look behind and he rolls down his window to swear at me for not thanking him for letting me cross. Maybe he didn’t see me thank him but that doesn’t make it excusable to try and intimidate and then harass someone, especially when they’re with a baby! Why does this happen so often? Pedestrians have right of way in this situation, it just pisses me off that people like this exist.

Toddler keeps giving himself an erect!on

I genuinely don’t know what to do about this behavior. First time I noticed it I was giving him a bath and he grabbed a brush, brushed his booty and his little thing went straight up and he thought it was funny.

Obviously I took it away but he’s gotten more creative, he uses other brushes he finds, ice cubes (that he’s always loved to play with), his finger, ect.

He’s noticed we don’t like this behavior and will stop it so he will go to the other room and take off his diaper to do it and then laugh when he gets caught.

I don’t want to traumatize him about his own body and I understand it’s him being curious and not understanding but he has done it so often since finding out he can and it’s relentless about it.

I put clothes on him to but he’ll take them off and if I catch him taking it off he runs away laughing and hides and I’m 6 months pregnant so chasing him is hard

Anyone have any ideas I could get him to stop? Or anyone know why he’s doing this? It’s really bothering me.

I feel like I’m horrible mom

I love my 4 months old daughter. I would do anything for her. I’m a first time mom and I’m doing this basically alone (no village). My husband is at work from 8am to 5:30pm and when he comes home he’s no help. It’s always an argument if I can get a few minutes of help from him.
I also have been dealing with EXTREME back pain from my emergency c-section that I don’t sleep at night.
My daughter has been different today. She’s constantly crying due what seems to be from pain, I’m assuming a mix from gum (teething pain) and reflux. For the first time today she’s puking a lot of her formula milk out. She usually spits but today she has extra burps and a lot more puke. I’ve been comforting her all day. It’s raining so we can’t go out for a walk today.
Since I don’t know how else to comfort her except hold her, read her books, sing to her, pat her on the back, give her snuggles, walk around the house with her, nothing helped. She just kept crying and screaming to the point that I screamed. This is NOT like me. I then put her in her crib and turned on the mobile crib music and left her for 30 seconds to go cry. I know we go through a lot as moms, but I feel horrible and started to cry and then after a few seconds I held her. I ended up giving her 0.25ml of baby Tylenol, and then held her again, I apologized to her while still crying and she smiled and reached out for my face. I feel horrible like I should be able to handle my emotions more.
Again, I’m going through a lot. I miscarried twice, had a surgery, and she is from an emergency c-section. My family lives abroad and I have no one except my not-so-helpful husband. It’s not an excuse. I feel really alone and she depends on me, so I shouldn’t have screamed. I am breaking inside. From pain in my back and lack of sleep, lack of support, it just broke me. I love her so much and I’m so happy she chose me. I don’t know why or what to do, but I have so much guilt and shame

wake windows ~ newborn

my new born is just over 3 weeks old, she will not settle down for naps much during the day & becomes so over tired we can never get her to sleep. She has wake windows of up to 6 hours during the day, sometimes it’s been longer. (With no nap inbetween)
We have tried everything we can think of but feel these wake windows are not normal.

Has anyone else experienced this?
all advice welcomed x

Is grieving normal when I didn't lose my baby?

I have a three month old daughter and I still have this gaping hole in me as if I lost her. She's right here in my arms, why am I grieving? Is it normal? I feel so much joy with how she's growing, but I feel such sorrow for the baby she once was. Any suggestions for coping? The only thing I want to do is hold her close to absorb her back into my body and I can't.

Honestly please

The days me and my baby girl (7m) stay inside for the day I keep her in her sleeper, I know there is nothing wrong with that but when it comes time for bed time, are we changing into new clean sleepers? Or no? After a couple of nights?

Also can I just say how much I love this app because i actually get friendly responses unlike fb groups and I’ve connected with a couple of moms already too
