Has anybody been successful in having a baby who sleep anywhere as they get older? Also should they have regular naps times? From what age?

You’re like going to get conflicting answers on if they should have ‘regular nap times’ .. for us, in our home.. structured nap times work best. My son (almost 2) has been on a 12-230 schedule since he was 11 months old. Somedays it’s more of a 1230-230 schedule but regardless nap time always falls in that window.
He will sleep pretty much anywhere but I find his quality of sleep is much much better if he is in his own crib at our house!

We make use of an app called Napper to help work out when to put our nearly 5month down for a nap.
He sleeps pretty much anywhere - sometimes it takes a little bit of work to get him to settle but since we've been following napper we've gone his sleep to be better. Still struggling with semi frequent night time wakings (wakes every 2 ISH hours until 1am and then will sleep for 3/4 hour stints but previously it was every 1 to 2 hours the whole night) but think that's the 4 month regression.

My almost 3 years old always had regular naps and sleep time. A bit flexible tho.
It helped a lot at having not so much tantrums and crisis. He also developed very well. Sleep is super important for a child to grow and a child who sleeps enough also has a more relaxed nervous system. It wasn't easy with my baby because I always had to fight for him to sleep. But I'm glad I did. Now he has a good sleep and is a happy little boy 🤗
